Questions!

1. Was it Prescott that said "white of their eyes" or was it Fritz? I've grown thinking it was Prescott but recently my history teacher told me it was Fritz the Great.

2. I was also told that it wasn't even Revere that rode through the middlesex villages. Could someone clear that up?

@Lunetaylina22 1. Fritz was never there. With such a vast gap in soldiers, Prescott ordered his men to fire only when they were well within range. nearly 50% of the British soldiers were casualties that day, while the Colonists lost only a fraction of that amount.

2. It was Paul Revere and a companion called William Dawe, Revere saw over 400 British soldiers heading somewhere in the middle of the night and put 2 and 2 together. Revere was eventually executed though.

Paul Revere didn't actually say "The British are coming" he actually said "The regulars are out". They were still British back then, so Revere saying "The British are coming" would be like saying "The Americans are coming!" In present times. I still LOVE this song and SHR
