To beat this i would lock down my base and get some flamethrowers. I dont like rushing because i dont think its fun for either side

Basically the only rush that is effective is a leader rush with brutes or honor guard. Banshee rushes are also pretty good but they are easy to see coming and easy to fight off if you have enough warning.

Rush are very easy to break. If someone plans to rush it usually begins with the person building a unit producing building as soon as the battle starts. so if you want to beat a rush scout the enemy often. if your oponent is a covenant then it means a leader rush with their unique units. If UNSC then its most likely hog rush(beaten easily when you have at least one tank and two turrets)

if you see in this strategy if if the guy scouted he could see if he was building up his forces and could of countered him easy with jackles but he didnt scout and this is why he got owned it be a better idea to lock your base in this strategy so they dont know your building troop and your building time is alittle faster when you do that and you can send them all a once in case he was trying to rush you also

wow vs unsc is a fail cause 1 tank or flamethrower and your marines are ded and once I pinned down a easy convemant (can't spell it right) and for 10 minutes they did not even try to do anything at all on machmaking warthor rush is so much better and warthogs can ram them without dmg-see the a.i. did not try to win it just took it easy is for exploring the maps and stuff seriosly everyone on rushes does this-lockdown make some units and release this strategy is a epic fail

1 build a hand full of flamers, the first units to come out at the start are infantry, flamers gut leaders, use marrines for the building.

2 take care of turrents as they are building, he had two. that is 500 resorces wasted if they are destroyed.

3 i like 4 supply pads because that leaves a contant steam of marines, u will get 100 in the time of 1 marrine training.

rushing is efective but u will get less score but more wins.

Really, rushing doesn't require much strategy, why is it so big in this game? Everything I see for Halo Wars on youtube is just "RUSH, RUSH, RUSH, RUSH, RUSH!!!" Why can't anyone take their time, upgrade the units, devise a good plan, and then attack, maybe half-an hour into the game, rather than 5 minutes. I've never played an XBL game where someone doesn't rush me. An RTS is for strategy, not for rushing, then it would be an RTR game (real time rushing). Really guys, don't rush, use skill.

Whats the fun making a dozen of troops, and quickly ending the game? I love to upgrade like, Everything, then get big toys like the Vulture. The Bigger the battle, the more interesting and awesome. Not just 12 or so marines taking a base down with no explosions or fun. Great Video Though.

I make like 3 tanks out fast and send em by like 5 6 mins then at like 11mins im already moving out grizzlies. This is a very old and crappy strategy: Instead of a barracks and only two supply pads, you could build four supply pads and an elephant, and make alot more marines in a much shorter time.

1. Mix in some flamers prophet and elites would have been slaughered.
