They're very likely receiving Medicare, Social Security, beneficiaries of the Prescription benefit, they have pensions, etc. I'll have an offer: If you refuse to use all the benefits listed above, I'll join you in your silly protests. I have private insurance and I'm fine with it. But if you should find youself without a job, working for a company that doesn't offer insurance, etc. you'll be wishing for a public option when your pre-existing condition is not covered. Typical unconfirmed journalism by Fixed News. The guy who got "roughed" up wasn't protesting against or for the health care plan of any kind. He was a Tea Party member passing out fliers. When he was asked about the meeting, he proclaimed he had no idea what the hall meeting was for or any concern regarding the HC in general.

And ask the report asserted, this wasn't about the HC but rather senior citizen issues. These thugs rushed the meeting and were kept out for being irrelevant.
