Our country has lost it's way we have forgotten how to be nice, gentle and caring for each other. I have two daughters 11-8 and this hits home every time I listen to it. One day we will look back on Mr. Beck as true patriot and God fearing man.
My 20YO daughter recently enrolled at business school & is enjoying it, but I was disturbed by one lecture series.
Apparently a feminist lecturer praised PORN STARS like Jenna Jameson & Sasha Gray, for leading ‘empowered business lives’, using their skills to create great ‘personal brands’, not reliant on corporations. The whole tone was positive, as if these people were fantastic role models.
As a Christian, I am troubled- I want her to succeed in life, but not at the cost of her soul…
No doubt you were inspired to do this Glenn Beck. Humor mingled with great wisdom. I thank God that we all have been allowed to share this with 'your daughter'.

There's only one thing about Beck that matters to me - is what he's saying true? I don't care about the personal attacks. We've come to a place where the messenger matters more than the message. If Obama said this, his supporters would eat it up. The answers are so simple, but they're never easy. We have to get beyond our own biases and hatreds.

Excellent! This is a good example of conservative values. How would an inspirational speech for a liberal go?
It would start out: " never do today, what another can do for you tomorrow". And then "You can not succeed on your own you must have the government give it to you" " You must vote liberal to allow gov. to maintain the agenda of taking from another to give to you" "Remember its not stealing if you benefit from it"
@jimbritttn Because, as evidenced by the reaction to movies like THE LAST TEMPTATION OF CHRIST, people tend to make decisions before they get all the facts, or any of the facts. They connect with leaders on an emotional level, and hope they can count on those people to do their thinking for them. If that person hates Glenn Beck, they hate Glenn Beck. Watch George Carlin. The guy was right on a lot of things. Not everything, but on on a lot.
@jimbritttn - unfortunately, those who are as brilliant enough to put together these pearls of wisdom, also know the corruption of power and the corruption of being in DC & because of that knowledge, will never run for national position. So, we are left with the power hungry going after the titles & positions.
@jimbritttn Because human nature is such that some of the smartest people use their brilliance to figure out how to obtain power by discrediting others and destroying their reputation. I'm only 28, but I've been politically aware forever and I don't remember a time where we've been more divided than we are now. And it's all based on character assassinations. Nobody understands or cares for policies. They like or hate a political figure over personal matters.
When I heard this, I was awe stricken. It was amazingly made with the words and music. I started college last year, wish I had this advice when I started.
The liberal pricks that "dislikes" this needs a good ass-kicking.
