Can anyone fully understand a writters intention, the meaning and thoughts they are trying to express ? I am but a mere mortal who struggles to understand myself. Yes it is true. Even Jesus quoted the book of Enoch. Many people idolize the favored Bible translation of their denomination. I will not read anything but KJV. I follow Christ, not a pastor or denomination, and if Jesus quoted it there has got to be wisdom in it.

The "fruit" Adam and Eve ate was the fig thus they cover themselves with the fig leave, and later on Jesus cursed the fig tree. There are a lot more it is an excellent reading. I disagree with the opening of this video. The Book of Enoch doesn't belong in the OT. It is a book written only to the Elect, not to everyone. Only a few can actually read it and understand it for what it really is, so there is no point in arguing over it.
@Adino1 yes, however the book leaves off from Genesis 4 about the Nephilims. So some theologians agree that it would be in the OT if it where cannonized. Some may dissagree... but it's trivial.

Enoch's book was not in the bible because emperor Constantine did not want it there. it was omitted just like many others including writings by Jesus and Mary Magdalene

It was settled on 28 August 397 AD by the Council of Carthage under the supervision of the Bishop of Carthage and the western Roman Emperor., later approved by the Pope. Those were the ones who decided what and what was not to be in the Bible. Yes Rome DID decide what was in. This is simple historical fact.

Being Father preserves His Word, if He did not want these references in there, they would not be. Man is who has tried to hide His Word. Book of Enoch is in Ethiopian, Catholic and a few other bibles. If you believe KJV is most proper. Ask yourself, what bible did the Puritans bring to America? It wasn't KJV.

No where in this book does it seek to give glory to the evil ones, but to God alone- that God is the final jugde and victor, all rebels must die the second death. That should make you suspicious. You can't rightly divided the Word of God if the book is not in the Bible or can't be found. This is not in the Bible because it is not the Gospel.

@CollabGiants the book of Enoch was considered one of the main scripture with the primitive church, before the bible ever was written. through out history the book of Enoch disappeared until a copy was found with the dead sea scrolls and just now is making a come back along with others. maybe the book disappearing has to do with the fact that the book was meant for this end generation just like it is written in the first few chapters.

Slowly throughout the course of human history they are being discovered one by one. Translations and revisions are proof that the bible has been changed. @TrueFacts777 The Bible mentions the book of Enoch and the Book of Jasher. I highly recommend the book of Jasher because there are a lot details ie. The "fruit" Adam and Eve ate was the fig thus they cover themselves with the fig leave, and later on Jesus cursed the fig tree. There are a lot more it is an excellent reading. Be careful are some which are copies from the original just like the book of Enoch. Check for the highest ratings

It lines up with the old and new testament, and confirms the Father Son & Holy Spirit. The UFO question is answered in that the 200 fallen angels/aliens, the 12 leaders that came down. I don't know if it is necessarily Scripture, but all the early rabbinical scholars and early church fathers considered it a valuable document of Jewish history, and Tertullian actually considered it to be Scripture. The Ethiopic Church even added it to its holy canon.
Our Lord, Yeshua HaMashiach even quoted from chapter 15 of the book of Enoch; Peter quoted from it; and Jude, the brother of Christ, directly quoted from it.

It was settled on 28 August 397 AD by the Council of Carthage under the supervision of the Bishop of Carthage and the western Roman Emperor., later approved by the Pope. Those were the ones who decided what and what was not to be in the Bible. Yes Rome DID decide what was in. This is simple historical fact.

I think it's a bit outlandish to believe "God" would directly take the effort to influence the compilation of the Bible, conveniently aligning with the will of the Romans and the Jahwist. Then yet, when all his people get murdered in horrific ways from 1940 to 1945 he decides to do absolutely nothing about the situation. Being Father preserves His Word, if He did not want these references in there, they would not be. Man is who has tried to hide His Word. Book of Enoch is in Ethiopian, Catholic and a few other bibles. If you believe KJV is most proper. Ask yourself, what bible did the Puritans bring to America? It wasn't KJV.

Tertullian considered the book of Enoch as Scripture and the Ethiopian Church did add it to their canon. Our Lord Yeshua even quoted from it numerous time, the most notable being in Enoch Chapter 15, Peter quoted from it, and Jude the brother of Christ directly quoted from it.
It was even found among the Dead Sea Scrolls...God was faithful to preserve it.

God preserved His word, and after all these years, the book of Enoch has been preserved, which interestingly, says in the first chapter, that it was not written for that generation, but for "a remote one which is for to come."

This book endoses the forgivness of sin, from Jesus, and the final judgement. No where in this book does it seek to give glory to the evil ones, but to God alone- that God is the final jugde and victor, all rebels must die the second death. This book does go against God's teachings.

@Camel76 wow judgemental and close minded. There is a book of Enoch that is legit. Found with the Dead Sea Scrolls verified and carbon dated to the time of Enoch. Well the 65yrs he spend on earth and the fact that he walked 300 years with God makes it some of the most interesting scripture besides the perfect work of the KJV. Do we need the book of Enoch to? No we don't because everything we need to know is already in the KJV. But it is Informative and incredible. It really increased my faith.
