@MrSpemat I can't speak to your personal experience, but ALL recent gay rights legislation that has passed has been only supported by democrats with little exception. DADT was overturned with only 6 republicans and ALL democrats; gay marriage in NY got 3 republicans only...and republicans were against gay folks rights even for hospital visitation. Now all of the republicans running for president are ALL anti-gay. One even said he would reinstate DADT!
@MrSpemat Actually, I'm not a "breeder" I'm gay. And I stand by my comments...While there is homophobia amongst all groups, including some democrats, they are much more supportive in general to gay rights. There are a few pro-gay Republicans, but they are few and far between. Since the 1980s, the Republican party has been hijacked by the extremist "Christians" in the U.S. Sad., but true.
@billyboylb I already said I hate those bastards too… I don't really miss the political crap in the US… at the end of the day, you all still eat turkeys every November to celebrate the genocide of the natives and there was something that never sat well with me about that….
What I find sorta ironic is that this was ripped when it was shown on TNN. What used to be "The Nashville Network" country music channel, until it's reformation and eventual re-branding as "Spike TV." Darlene resembles everything I hate about country music.
@Death2Bigots I love Country Music, but there is a difference between Nashville Pop country and real Country Music. Alternative Country is much better than anything they play on Country radio. BTW, there are lot of liberals in Country Music. Tim McGraw, Shania Twain, Faith Hill, and many others are registered Democrats.
@ForeverAnalog - I like -one- cuntree song and that's Johnny Cash's cover of NIN's Hurt. Aside from that most of it just sounds like music for hardcore gun-toating christian republicans... oh and the Dixie Chicks, they're alright.
@ForeverAnalog - If hating hicks and homophobes makes me a bigot, sure. Also, only one "g" is necessary. So what do you listen besides cunt-ree? Any rock or metal? Hell, on rare occasions I even like rap.
@Death2Bigots There are many different types of Country Music, ya know. I bet you never even heard of cow punk or Alternative Country? I like that stuff. I dont care for mainstream country, but I love Old Classic Country. Dolly Parton has written over 3,000 songs. At least you admit you are a Bigot, yourself. Your're every bit as judgemental. So you think because I like Country Music I am a hick? Country fans come from all walks of life. Metal Music is noise to me. Rap has zero talent.
@Death2Bigots Yeah, every who hates Country can like Johnny Cash- probably the most overrated and limited Country singer ever. There are many Country artists much mroe talented and diverse than he was. No offense to Johnny Cash.
@Death2Bigots Johnny Cash does make the Nine Inch Nails song actually listenable. Rap music is (c)rap. Its just a person talking over a beat. Country at least has TALENT.
@ForeverAnalog - What about NIN's -original- version wasn't "listenable?" it's one of the least electronically noisy of their songs. And I'll admit I do like one other country song, Feed Jake by "Pirates of The Mississippi." I remember it as a kid but I only ever thought of it as a song about a dog, but it had alot more to the story than just that. -THAT- is country I can see worth in.
@Death2Bigots Yes, I agree. I love "Feed Jake". My point was that Country can be funny- and it doesnt take itself serious all the time as does Rock and Pop which can be mighty pretentious. But it also has some very poetic lyrics.
@ForeverAnalog - Yes, I agree. I love "Feed Jake" 0 I especially like -this- part of "Feed Jake" -- "Now if you get an ear pierced, some will call you gay. But if you drive a pick up, they'll say 'No, he must be straight.' What we are and what we ain't, what we can and what we cain't... does it really matter?" That's country talking about unconditional love and being saddened by prejudice in the world, that's something I can relate with more than the next party track.
@ForeverAnalog - "Rap music is (c)rap. Its just a person talking over a beat. Country at least has TALENT." - Both can be pretty boring sometimes since they both burn out their topics fast. Country mostly has cheatin' men and women, cowboys, drinkin beer, drivin' pick ups and line dancing. Rap mostly has cars, clothes, mansions, hoes, drugs and cop killing. But every once in a while there'll be something out there that surprises me with lyrics relevant to -my- interests.
@Death2Bigots Hey, I listen to A LOT of Country songs, and maybe one out of 500 I've heard ever mentions the things you have mentioned in a country song. If people actually listened to Country- real Country, and not the Fake Country that the play on the radio, they would actually come to understand it better.

What is THE most devastating & costly event EVER in American history?
SLAVERY...
WHY, because slave trader's forced black's here to America and even their own tribal leaders sold them off to the slave trader's for profit.
America will NEVER, EVER live down slavery. It costs American taxpayers billions & billions of dollars every year and it will NEVER, EVER end!
Just imagine America WITHOUT black's, wouldn't it be just wonderful!
