If you'd been ridiculed, bashed, made fun of and made to feel like an outcast in school because of your choice to come out about being straight (if the world was opposite, gay was the "norm" and straight people weren't as prominent as them), then you'd be angry too.
Yeah I could have easily kept on pretending to be straight to avoid discrimination from friends and everyone else, but in the end it was killing me inside to do so.

I agree that those things are not something anyone should be subjected to, and unfortunately people are... but not just for being homosexual... for pretty much any reason. It's not right and the people who have posted negative unnecessary comments here should be ashamed of themselves. But so should you for being what you protest against. I have people near and dear that are gay and it tears me apart to think anyone would hurt someone as good as them, but you are acting no better than them.

Next time, read past your presumptions, mq2006. Your post had absolutely nothing to do with what was stated. Face it: Gay, straight, black, white, different religious, and cultural diversities: everyone goes through strifes for being different in one means or another and rising above societies'prejudices and biases only makes you a better person if you do not go about it hyprotically and cast the same actions towards those who have wronged you.
