The torch relay day was awesome. Marching along with the crowd of Chinese, I realized that I felt a sense of belonging in this group. This was where I felt I should belong - standing alongside the same people as I am, protecting our homeland against ZD slander.
I'm impressed all these students found time to drag themselves away from plagiarising their assignments from the internet and getting the Aussies in their groups to do the work (so it can be understood by the markers), to get their bodgy degrees and further degrade the Australian University system.

i was a torch bearer, it was an amazing day. and yes some Chinese took it too far and trampled innocent spectators, but by the same token the tibetens have completely ruined most chances of another international torch relay, which if you ask me is far worse then the chinese showing abit of patriotism, as most of the chinese that were brought to canberra are only in Australia studying.

to all those who think that we were "paid" to go and mob, think again. Only 15,000 Chinese came. If we were, as you claim, "paid", then I assure you that over 100,000 Chinese would have come. That's how many there are in Australia. I assure you, if that were so, we would have brought all our family and friends to go, we Chinese are money loving people. Unfortunately, no one paid us. Probs ppl would even come from NZ and WA if we were paid to do so. They would get much more ppl if they did.

Spratley Islands, North Korea (we invaded them in the 1950s), Northern India (the part we invaded in the 1960s), Vietnam (we invaded them in 1979)... and the farms and mines that China owns overseas....all belong to China!

CCP then the people will should have revolution just like they had in China, India, America and so on. I have not been to China and I cant say if they are good or bad, i cannot make my judgement based on what they call news (brainwashing), but what i have heard from chinese ethnic or not that they are happy and dont mind who rule the country. Lastly i am not Chinese.

for which Australian PM apologised recently. Please if anybody can tell me which country is worthy of hosting the olympics based on your arguments. I believe wishes of millions chinese should be heard its their country, Tibet was always part of China but for only when British gave it independence for which they had no right. I am truly impressed by Chinese people nationalism, well done all! On a different note politcs should be kept seperate to sports because although there are problems with chinese government there are no saints in the rest of the world. And if benchmark for olympics is human rights then i dont think any country in the world can host the olympics. States for killing millions all over the world, London for supporting the war, Australia due its support for war and breaching human rights of aboriginl

I've lived here for ten years, and the only exploiting of fellow asians I see here is being done by the Taiwanese to the immigrant workers from Thailand and the Philipines, not westerners. And to reply to your comment about USA selling out Taiwan (your words), if you are for one China, why would you think that? Taiwan independence is what you are against, right?
