But he stayed calm, got off quick as possible and I got out ok. Yours was less severe, less traumatic and you acted like a jerk towards it!!!!

My horse did the same thing to me last Sunday, except he completely ate dirt and sent me flying 6 ft away from him lol. We were fine, dirty though! It was in a lesson, so now I owe my trainer a box of cookies. We couldn't stop laughing, because he really started moving correctly after that!!!

Its not his faul, nor the horses. That horse must have just been havind a lazy day and not placed its feet well, but also, that is why you have to have a feel on their mouth at all times, so when they DO trip, you can catch them.
It is obviouse this horse is! horses are approximately carry 60% of their weight on the front and 40% on the back... This horse, like my own, seems to be build fairly downhill and so carries more liek 80% on the front and 20% on the back, and the owner shoudl know how their horse is built and be aware that it is more prone to trip.
It's not the horse's fault that it was having a lazy day and didn't place his feet well? So I guess if I'm driving around and I'm having a lazy day and I don't press the brake as hard as I should and run into someone crossing the street it won't be my fault either.

its called negitive training! all horses are trained negitively the horse was being lazy n got heavy on the forehand n tripped. come bakk when yuu no wat the hell yuur talking about. o n byda way that arena is in perfectly good shape. it has to be bc the nuber one paint western pleasure sire is located at that facility.

Gawd you piss me off. You are such an ass. You don't even know Mark and Mel. They are wonderful people and treat their client's horses like their own children. You can't even be thankful that the rider is okay, and that the horse got up. Good horses are slow and sometimes clumsy. Wouldn't you agree that you'd rather have to push than pull? You must be blind... you can see that the rider threw something at the horse. In case you didn't take notice, I wasn't the only person who saw it. I was thankful that the rider was ok, until he threw shit at the poor horse. She tripped and lost her balance, he flew off. So he get's angry and takes it out on her. Very mature... and I'm the one who needs a life.

That's a bummer...
The same thing happened to me though the other day. Our new arena has bad footing (don't know why) but I didn't know that until I was cantering along and my horse tripped and flipped on top of me. After we both got up the arena had a hole in it where he had fallen...won't be using that arena anymore lol.

No matter if it were sunglasses or a cinderblock, this jurk should not have thrown anything at the horse, My own horse has fallen, I was not on him when he fell but it was not his fault, it was the riders fault he fell, my friend just started jumping and my horse is a schooling pony, she was off balenced and he went down on his knees. Im guessing in combo with the ground and this asses balence the horse simply tripprd, and the horse also stopped, he didnt go bucking off! It was an accsident,

Yeah and thats why english riders look so much prettier! Western horses are so ugly the way they carry their heads so low to the ground and the riders are even uglier they just sit there in the saddle and bounce around looking all fat and such!
