Final Destination 5 - Movie Review

WARNING: THIS COMMENT IS A QUESTION ABOUT ERIC'S MAJOR SPOILER SO DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU HAVE SEEN IT! So how is this a prequel? I saw the plane ticket and it was dated in 2000 but I didn't put the pieces together. I haven't seen the first one, and I won't, so please explain how it was a prequel.

I really loved this one I mean the characters where if-y but I loved how it did tie in with the first 2. I heard theres going to to a 6th one. If thats true I'd love for them to tie in the 3rd and or 4th one to the other 3 (1,2 & 5). I have to agree the 4th one is horriable. I did like the 3rd one though although it could be because I liked the actors and there characters. Oh and as for the whole sex/no sex thing. the 3rd one did show breast (tanning scene) and the 4th one shows soft core sex...

I loved FD5 it was actually my favorite 1. Because I loved the deaths especially candices, Olivias, and the guy who got drowned in tar and 2. Because of the same reason as u the prequal ending... I love stuff like that 2 it reminded me of the ending in paranormal activity 2 how the 2 movies kind of joined as one u know... thanks heaps for the review

If you have not already, you should check out Fright Night remake, its good solid entertainment, and if you've not seen the 1985 original with Chris Sarandon and William "Herman's Head" Ragsdale you should do so, it is even better in my opinion!

I loved FD1 and I went in to this one the same as I went in to all others after that. "This movie will be entertaining but not mind blowing or "great" or anything" And MAN I loved it! I really enjoyed it overall and THEN the ending totally got me! I was SO close to standing up in the theater, jaw on the floor. I can imagine you bugging out was probably similar to me bugging out. 1-Have to love the originals in a series

3- This one I liked because I actually care at what happened to most of the characters. The whole photo thing was good yet bad.

2- Great for a sequel but other then Clear I didn't care about most of the people. Also I know it's small but I didn't like that Clear called the onces the dead on flight 180 were her friends.

4- HORRIABLE ALL AROUND. Lol

FD5: for the refreshing plot twist, great use of 3D, and ultimately: the ending!

FD2: the connections to the 1st film such as the deaths of characters from the 1st film preventing these characters from dying earlier

FD: for it's originality, suspense and a new take on teen horror

FD3: for it's new take on how to look for clues - i.e. the pictures - as well as for it being the first film to have a premonition at both the beginning AND the end!

TFD: Not much to say about it really!

Honestly I loved FD5 lol. I went in with no expectations but I came out of the theater really happy. They didn't overdo the 3D, the plot had a decent flow, the deaths weren't terribly ridiculous, and that twist at the end was great. Best one since the second one.

First, I thought it was cool too! This is a franchise that could go on forever & never need to have direct ties to previous installments or specific characters. They just exist to show us the viewers crazy deaths & I love it!

Second, I'd be all for the whole midquel thing! Having future installments taking place in all different locations of the series chronolgy would be hella fun & hilarious at the same damn time!

did anyone else catch all the easter eggs like the restaurants name ended in 081 180 backwards...or the picture on the girls desk was of her at the roller coaster from the 3rd one...i thought the ending was cool but I kinda figured thats how it would end because they talked about paris the whole movie and thats where the trip was to in the first movie. and they didnt show too much technology which i thought was a nice touch.
