  • what a wonderfull deep talk

  • So don´t love anybody, not yourself not your neighbor. Anyway, they all are nobodies.

Why do you have to practice to become one with the universe. We are allways In the universe. No practice, just BE.

  • so clear and easy to understand. What a wonderful teacher she is.

  • stop thinking!!

  • just sit...that's beautiful...just keep everything simple

  • she is a very good teacher

  • Below is a zen koan by one enlightened master.

Before I practise Zen, I saw mountains as mountains, and water as water.

When I arrived at a more intimate knowledge, I came to the point where I saw that mountains are not mountains, and water are not water.

But now that I have got its very substance I am at rest. For it's just that I see mountains once again as mountains, and water once again as water.

If you cannot explain, you're still not enlightened.

  • the sky is blue and the earth is green,

the mountain is high, but the clouds are blind,

the door is near, but u go round to find,

when the dog barks loud,u get the mind...

hahaha...hit the ground and the mountain is "just like this"...

enlightenment is not important...important is to keep a "don't know mind"

then from seeing enlightenment the first stage is enlightenment, second time when u see it,is not enlightenment but the third time when seeing it...enlightenment is just like this.

  • No one can explain it because it's too vaige. "i saw mountains as mountains"

first(mountains) - does this point to the name or the reality?

second(mountains) - does this point to the name or the reality?

the subject and object of the sentence are exactly the same word, but in this context we can't decide if they point to different things. Does it mean "I saw mountains and attached the label 'mountains' to it"?

Some koans use metaphors and others are just to vaige to interpret.

  • There is definitely an intended meaning. Heres what I think it means.

    Duality, mountain and non-mountain.

Remove duality, doesn't allow himself to have a discriminating mind.

"plays" in duality and in the discriminating mind, but does not cling to it.

  • The true self can NEVER be covered over. It just sits and KNOWS

  • This lady sounds like a good teacher. I look forward to seeing more of her.

  • she does sound wonderful! She is a member of the Kwan Um Zen School - korean Soen (Zen) practitioner.

  • great stuff, hope more like this get posted!
