Hey, golastfm. Yeah, I've never found anything interesting just looking in Google Earth. But, there are web sites where others have already collected their interesting finds in Google Earth. Like gearthhacks or bbs.keyhole. Click on (more info) next to the vid for details on these.

if you want to view it on google earth, where do you put the coordinates, and were is the timeslider?

Charlottegooding, yeah in Google Earth the place to put coordinates is in the upper left corner in the Fly To field. You probably don't want to try to type in the long string of numbers, just use copy and paste. Then click on the search button next to the field. The Time Slider is along the top. It's a clock icon that says Show Historical Imagery when you click it. Then a slider will appear. Use it to go back to any older images in GE.

Yeah, hoegg. That was just a field with some construction marks at the University of Copenhagen. Google Earth has been updated and the marks are gone now.

Google Earth isn't updated all at once. They make smaller updates, getting around to updating the whole planet about every 3 years.

Thanks. Yeah, the free version of Google Earth doesn't record, so I use the freeware CamStudio to capture it. But, I also use Windows Movie Maker to edit and overlay.
