Hmm! I strongly disagree from the 1800's-1950's American blacks did pretty good. Stable families more businesses owned per capita until now the current time. Black people even had there own Rail Road companies called the Jacksonville Express. They even owned the properties in the cities they lived in. Now you don't own shit, you don't even have a pot to piss in thanks to the 1960's and the war on poverty LBJ's welfare programs. Which created people who can't feed themselves.
