I saw them in Burlington, VT a number of years ago. Couldn't have been more than 100 people in the crowd in a small bar. Best freakin' show I've ever seen. I challenge any rock band to beat them for energy and talent.
Just saw them again here in Dublin, Ohio. Same fun, energetic band. The festival has gotten so big, though - we used to be able to talk with the acts after...
That's odd. Both days the guys were right next to the stage after the show, even on Sunday when they were beat tired. Patrick was even outside of the gate. Sorry you that you didn't see :(
My loss - sorry to have missed them. I was intimidated by the crowds. Used to be, they'd sit in with the session groups afterward. Maybe that still happens, too, and I'm just out of touch.
I have nothing but fond memories of everyone in the group - they were never anything but gracious and fun.
I don't think Gaelic Storm had half the energy they typically bring the last time they visited Pittsburgh for the Irish Festival.. They were probably pissed because they had a really shitty time slot. They were, however, still amazing. :)
This is actually one of the best GS videos 'audio quality wise' that I've ever seen/heard. Because the people who tend to film are receiving the incredibly loud sound out of the speakers directly in front of the stage.
Once again, thank you for posting such great videos!

I saw them Live at an Irish festival in Easton, MA several years ago, and the lead guy was telling about how they were in the Titanic movie.

Best damn version of this song I've found, everyone else throws some new twist on it and screws it up.

The audio kinda sucks, too much feedback and bass, but otherwise, good vid.
