  • Aww. Why did you have to use a different coloured Nanaya? One epic part about him was his blue uniform and brown hair (or is it grey-ish? I'm near clour blind godammit).

  • @ryaneoh Because what's awesome varies from person to person. Although... uniform and hair color? Seriously?

Also, no version of it could be considered "epic." Methinks you've heard that word overused way too much lately and have forgotten what it actually means. "Epic" is NOT just yet another word for "cool" in the massive list of words that mean basically the same thing. Its meaning has a much grander scale than something that can be reduced to something like that.

  • @XerBlade Wow. You've really done your research on English. And yes. I was using EPIC just cuz its a popular phrase. But seriously. Uniform and Hair Colour.

  • I love Shiki and his eyes soooooo much, even though he is an assassin, that makes him sooo HOT and so STRONG!!!! >//////<

  • Xer a little question if you would see Roa for the first time without playing Tsukihime or MB what would you think of him? Is that guy a pianist? A popstar? etc.

  • @selemanecu It's hard to say, since it's not like I've ever been in that situation... but I'd have to say, hey, it's one of those stereotypical flamboyant long-haired anime main bad guys.

  • does anyone know the name of the song that's used during the Roa fight?

  • @AngelKnightZeo713 Modernism Street.

  • is of version of PC or OF the game original?

  • Man, I have the the prior ps2 version of this game and I love it except I need to use an ps2 emulator to play which is almost always subject to slowdown! I love this game as I play iy in chinatown fair arcade(it is really beginning to smell in there, wtf, don't ppl take baths anymore!!??) anyway does anyone know how to use this on a ps3??.

  • How did Roa get electric powers?

  • He was supposed to have magic with that atribute from the beginning, but he never got the opportunity to show it off in Tsukihime. Actually, he just may not have been able to use it at all in Tsukihime if SHIKI didn't have the right Magic Circuits, but this Roa was created by Dust of Osiris, so he should be combined from the knowledge other significant characters have of him, so he would have his magic back.

  • i love this game n tha anime..i hope they make a season 2 of Tsukihime

  • Does this game exist in English or only Japanese??!!

  • There has never been an English release of a Melty Blood game. Mirror-Moon has made unofficial translation patches for the PC versions of parts 1-3 (note the first 2 were only on PC to begin with), but this one, the 4th part, has been announced that there won't be a PC version in the first place, unless they change their minds later on.

  • Damn i really wantd to buy this game but i dont understand a word of japanese :( Ty anyways

  • The nice thing about fighting games is that you don't have to be able to understand a word of anything anyone says to be able to play them. The story has no impact on the game itself.

By the way, the menus are entirely in English, as is the case for most Japanese fighting games (the only ones I've seen personally that aren't are the Naruto-based ones). The only thing in Japanese is the dialogue. Oh, and the ending credits.

  • In fact... the story of all Melty Blood in general is just one excuse after another for the characters to be there and fighting each other (between Tatari and White Len, you can hand-wave basically ANY match between characters that should never have even met; they came up with some convenient plot devices).

Seriously though, the stories of Melty Blood as well as even Kagetsu Tohya are NOT CANON. The creators themselves say that if they were to make a Tsukihime 2 it would ignore their existence.

  • awe, so Len wouldnt be Shiki's familliar then? pooo

  • Len already exists in plain ol' Tsukihime, even if she isn't named, so... maybe.

  • Well, until Tsukihime 2 is released and proves their incanonity (I don't know if that's a word), I'll just assume that Melty Blood and Kagetsu Tohya are canon. Besides, Tsukihime has multiple endings, so just assume that one game is the sequel of one ending and so on and so forth.

  • Personally, I think if the story is interesting and fun, I don't care either way.

  • @DarkAdonisVyers

In Plus plus disk, they discuss that Arcuied's good end is the real ending.

But Arc's true end is called Tsukihime.

However in Melty Blood it appears to follow something like a "Satsuki Route" (Hinted on how angry Shiki got when Sion mentioned something about vampires)

KT: I forget, I'm not sure about which ending it supposedly branched off of.

  • All of them.

Depending on your choices during the day in KT, events that could only logically follow any one of the different routes can happen (for example, choose to go to school with Akiha and she transferred schools back in Akiha route, but choose to go alone and you immediately remind yourself that she goes to Asagami and couldn't possibly walk together with you).

As is stated in Nasu Kinoko Theater in Plus+Disc (lol), such things are only possible if it turns out to be a dream.

  • But the thing is after he wakes up I mean.

All the heroines are present (if I remember correctly), including Arc, meaning it can't be a far-side of the moon route, Arc's true ending, or Ciel's true ending.

Meaning possibilities are only Arc and Ciel (lol L'Arc en Ciel) Good endings.

But I think I remember somewhere saying that even with that it doesn't follow any ending.

  • You're not supposed to take KT seriously.

    Seriously.

    It doesn't fit in anywhere.

  • I know.

It was said somewhere that Tsukihime is a complete story itself, meaning there really is no true sequel/continuation.

As far as Tsukihime 2 is concerned, I don't think they were serious on making it.

  • Then what should I "take seriously"? What are the standards of stuff to "take seriously"?

  • Well, when the words "FUN DISC" appear in large print across the top of the title screen, you know that's not included in that standard.

Also, if it is a reference to Tsukihime 2... well, that would've either come from the above case or from a certain April Fools joke a few years back (lol Satsujinki). Other than those two references, there is really no Tsukihime 2.

  • Hmm... ok but where can u download this game then?? i seriously want to play it :)

  • dont let that stop you. eventually you get used to the more important configurations of symbols, and usually there's some sort of story translation on a website. take it from someone who imported three naruto games over the years, it's not as hard to play games like this as you think. now...RPGs...

  • Thx but seriously you think RPGs are hard? man i love those kind of games i always want to play new ones :D my favorite RPG so far is FF7 (Final Fantasy 7 in case u didnt know :D)

  • well, what i meant was that playing RPGs entirely in japanese would be much harder, unless you knew the language. especially if you're playing it for an awesome story.

  • True enough. A sane person should never attempt playing an RPG in a language he doesn't understand. It defeats the whole purpose of RPGs.

  • Ahh then i know what u mean :D

  • lol miyako and nanaya

  • Ryougi stole Tohno/Nanaya's spotlight in this game.

  • She did that already the instant someone finally decided to animate Kara no Kyoukai.

  • Yup, Ryougi is the best
