When I played MGS the first time I was about 8 or 9 and was a pretty bad noob so I had to do the battle over and over. But as she lay on the ground, dying, I wished I would've never beaten this fight. I fealt so much remorse. And then this freaking music startet to play. It simply was to much...

@EqualsThreeable I totally agree. I felt that IF you let Meryl die in MGS, the ending was much more powerful vs the cameo ending. When it came to MGS, you had to do both endings. Especially when you wanted the bandanna, the Stealth Suit, AND the Tuxedo costume hehe.

Yeah... Ive always loved this game series, as it has always touched a persons spirit, and it wasnt just a aim and shoot peice of crap. Unlike so many other war games, it actualyl shows the pyscological side of war, the most painful part. And it shows all the pain in actual fighting, and really, alot of people have been desentisized by violence, that some dont know what it really feels like. Thats why MGS will always be a top game, other then the fact is was extremely fun and had good graphics.

MGS is eternal. I played they all, and can tell that it's the best game serie ever.

MGS1 was an awesome experience. I liked the fact that it made you think most of Foxhound were just killers. Then after you kill them they reveal their reason for fighting. It teaches the lesson that no groups in any war are the bad buys or good guys, just soldiers fighting for a reason.

I love this game, so emotional. Atleast now a couple of games have followed suit that dont glorify war and killing. MGS1 was the first I played and still the best. Soundtrack = Epic, Gameplay = Epic. Its just epic. There are so many hidden morals in the story.

Well, there is that one part of Gears of War 2 where Dom sees his wife at her condition, and as he cries he puts a gun to her head, the camera cuts off and you hear a gunshot... that part is emotional, but it can't reach to how much MGS can get you. Seriously, the part in MGS2 with Otacon's sister and him... and then he remembers back with Sniper Wolf... that part had me for quite a while...

Yeah, the whole storyline from start, to the possible end being four, is so emotional and real in a sense, so good, i mean i was young when i played the first one and i will admit that i hated having to get up to Sniper Wolf the second time because i didnt want her to die XD i even remember tring to shoot her legs so that she wouldnt get lung-shot, god that was bad, cos i was like yay she will live, then she still ended up with a bullet in her lung, worse than the first time :D hahaa

When I was playing this game I was a hardcore gamer, I never cared about the story or anything. Once this part came up I nearly cried its a sad moment with very sad music. But it also made me sad when Meryll died. Yes I got the bad ending first.
