it's funny; I typically don;t really liek this style of music, but Aphex Twin/Richard D James has always had a special place in my brain. I've tried others in teh same gnere, and they jsut get annoying after a while.

My favourite "NIN" song wasthat 7th or so track from the Furth Down the Spiral album. Only years later did i learn it was an Aphex Twin orioginal. Figures.

At Vordhosbn's normal speed, the percussion beat behind the melody sound somewhat disjointed, distorted. However, when slowed down the beat sounds coherent, almost like a drum interpretation.

He probably composed it at a slower speed like this and raised the bpm, you know. Because it sounds a lot like some of his older stuff at this speed. If you had raised the pitch according to the amount you slowed it down, it'd have sounded exactly the same but at a slower tempo.
