  • like this video..or else

  • but my brain REALLY dose not work in this box you put me in....i don think of arabic people as terrorist i think of USicans as terrorist to them for still harshly condemning an entire race and religion of people for something that happened 10 years ago, it is not the arabians fault that it's TSA's job to make us physically uncomfortable it is the US peoples fault for thinking out of fear, AND NO i do not get scared around black people i do however feel uncomfortable around MOST white ppl

  • @crakho3 oh an by the way i am 60% caucasian, and YES i will admit there is something about race/racism that matters in the world and to me, but lets just say that my upbringing, experiences, and thinking structure are set up ALOT differently than the perfect racist social box that alot of other people are in, an no there is a high doubt there are other people think think an feel the way i do, but i know there are some people that are not even black and discriminate white people and people that

  • @crakho3 empathize with the bullshit arabian people receive based on their race and religion

  • I'm 15 years old and I've been on wellfare. Before I started straightening my hair and wearing makeup, guys would make fun of me. Mostly they'd do over the border jokes. I'm not even Mexican, I'm half Finnish and half Indian (India Indian).

I just started laughing in the middle of this because I completely agree with you and your frustration with the world. Yes, I have a terrible sense of humor.

  • @urameshi2396 Thank you for your well reasoned and informative comment =) I really appreciate users that have a sense of respect and perspective in their thoughts online.

  • @urameshi2396 you insulted me? oh =) LOL I'm sorry, I've been on youtube for years, I've received tens of thousands of comments and emails...I've heard such horrible things about me so often that I can't tell the difference between haters and fans =P And I don't remember what I said in this video, but I'm sure I'm at least close to correct ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @urameshi2396 I don't think white people are racist? I'm saying that Affirmative Action isn't ethically correct according to the constitution...I'm saying that private companies and people can engage in Affirmative Action, but the government shouldn't impose different treatment on different races b/c the governments role should be LIMITED and treat everyone the same. I'm not talking about white people being racist at all =/

  • @AmanJohnX I'll watch the vid again then, because from what I was hearing near the start lead me to believe that. Wouldn't be the first time that I've been wrong :p

  • @urameshi2396 it's okay =) haha

  • @AmanJohnX I removed my comments because you said that you didn't mean what I thought you meant.

  • @urameshi2396 it's okay....a lot of times it's just a misunderstanding...probably not my fault because many times I can be very unclear and ambiguous on this channel =P check out AmanJohnK tho

  • There is nothing, there is flesh,

there's no difference between it, just is.

all living, all dying, all existing,

    all useless.

    really think your mind cares?

  • I love your tone and feeling in this video because a lot is expressed when you just talk about how you feel. Don't change!!

  • Not sure if this is the right forum for this type of question, but I have no idea how many emails you get . Whether you respond or not, I appreciate the hard work and diligence you have taken into making everything that comes out of your mouth a well-thought, poignant statement, and you understand the importance of being a good citizen. Keep making videos!

  • like to make a small inquiry about life...I have taken two long breaks from college in my academic career, contemplating letting it all go again. I am able minded, well rounded and when I'm motivated, unstoppable(Best undergrad research project in the state of Montana, in combinatorial design, mathematics, as a cell/molec bio student). I can't seem to find any long lasting motivation however to get a degree, or to get good grades...2.21...I need magical, all-encompassing advice!!

  • Hey man, can't help but notice you are a little jaded in your dialogue and your body language. I get the same way about people, but here I am at 2 a.m. before a chemistry exam, and I'm eating up your videos like a drug. It must be hard for you to be inspired by people because you have set the bar high for yourself...You have inspired me deeply tonight, I hold a very high regard for logic and intelligence. I know it's impossible to have a candid conversation in a comment section, but I would...

  • Phew, I hope I'm not one of those idiotic viewers! I am very grateful that I found your channels, I love the feeling of learning.

  • Aman, you are honestly the most philosophical, intellectual and all round amazing person i'll ever see, whether its on youtube or not.

  • I admit- I don't know much about a lot of the topics you talk about on AmanJohnX. However, you explain things in such detail, but at the same time in the most understandable way. My point is, I learn things from you, and I couldn't love your videos more!

As for AmanJohnK, I kinda feel like I'm watching a fake youtuber, sometimes. I prefer and LOVE this channel, or should I say,- the real you?

  • @misslisritchh See, I've been soul searching trying to reconcile what I'm all about...it's coming more and more into focus...but yea, only my best videos on AmanJohnK do I feel like I'm the real me whereas here I'm always me....it's hard because and sort of unfair to compare, but K is sort of "on stage" and X is sort of "off stage" but I've been spending quite a while thinking about who I really am and what I'm really all about....trying to figure out my angle.

  • @AmanJohnX Don't get me wrong, I do like your videos on K,- You use a different method to pass on the different topics you are talking about. Humour, metaphorical-speaking and using examples, are great tools to use to make things easier to understand, for others. I'm sure you know why I prefer X to K, even though the K videos are funny, and EVEN though I have a good sense of humour. Basically- I GET you on X, I like you better. I hope you'll continue the philosophical and psychological topics!

  • @misslisritchh No no no, I appreciate and LOVE LOVE the honesty...I think I'm funnier on AmanJohnX!!! =D =D I think what I'm going to do on AmanJohnK is simply do more of what I do on AmanJohnX but free myself up a bit....be a little less scripted, yet simply have the difference to be MORE prepared....am I making sense? So I'll do what I normally do, but when it comes time to film....I relax and let more of my personality shine thru....more of the real....yet still have some skits...you know?

  • @misslisritchh basically, I'm saying I'll be more relaxed on AmanJohnK but keep the videos shorter than AmanJohnX and also keep the topics not political....the more political the topics are or the less effort I want to put into a video I'll just do it on AmanJohnX the point of AmanJohnK is going to be FOR the viewers either to develop their thinking, influence their life decisions, teach them concrete examples in psychology....it's for them...AmanJohnX is more...well, just purely intellectual.

  • @AmanJohnX Aaah, I see! I totally understand what you mean. I'm happy you appreciate the honesty! The last thing I want to do is be disrespectful, I guess I look up to you! :D

On X you seem free and you let the passion you have for the topics shine through!

K is to make people to develop their thinking, while X is for the thinkers?

  • @misslisritchh sorry if I'm responding too fast...I'm at my computer about to film, that's why I'm all creepy =P Well, AmanJohnK is going to be about a few things 1) tangible easy to understand practical life lessons like my video "Just do it" where I say don't wait until you feel like doing something 2) understanding the psychology of our minds like my video "it's your choice to be miserable" and then 3) getting a little edgier with ethics, good vs bad, and introducing those topics.

  • @misslisritchh basically I want to 1)teach my viewers how the brain works (Psychology), give them steps to take from there 2) teach them practical lessons(practical), yet help them have more motivation and understanding and belief that what they do is "morally correct"(philosophical) - it's really just my delivery I've been struggling with..but I'm gonna work on it...& upload more frequently on K whereas I think X is a channel for the sake of pure intellect & anything I don't wanna discuss on K

  • @AmanJohnX Hahaha! Noo, I don't think its creepy,- i'm honoured (wow, that's lame!). I almost feel like I know you, but you never know, I guess! xP

Mhm, I get what you're saying! I can't wait for the next video!

I've been thinking of studying psychology, for a couple of years now, and your videos only make me more interested! Its so fascinating to me!

Oh, please make a video bout how the brain works! Psychology used to be my nr. 1, but I have started falling in love with 'the body'..

  • @misslisritchh Also, i'm sorry I don't use words to describe things EXACTLY. I have lots of English learning ahead of myself. I hope you understand what i'm TRYING to say!

  • Enjoyed the video. Hope you're feeling better...

  • @AmanJohnX If you are already practically guaranteed money from the government, why would you want to work harder and why would you have the ambition to look for a job? Humans are lazy and they'll take opportunities to get by as easy as possible. It is a very retarded system. It is very similar to rewarding the bad kid who plays with his food and eats glue instead of his/her vegetables. Responsibility needs to be more important to the everyday American.

  • Do you really hate us that much? =p LOL I love your AmanJohnK videos, I honestly think they are amazing, properly the only youtuber I am subscribed to that can actually get me thinking about real subjects.

Anyway nice video's and once again ( like you have probably heard over 100 times.... From me) Thanks =D

  • Hey Aman, can you make your next video (or the one after that) about the "don't judge me" excuse. You mentioned only a little bit of that in your videos, but I would love if you dedicated a whole video to it. I was on board with that saying because they have a point, but now I just see it as it an excuse for people to continue to do wrong. Same thing with the "I'm not perfect" one. These are just merely excuses to make someone feel bad when they voice out their reprehensible behavior.

  • Can you talk more about the people who are part of your audience that you don't want to be part of your audience?

  • @ThreeCheersForBryan Actually, can I ask you a question....have my videos been showing up in your sub box?

  • @AmanJohnX Yes they have.

  • People, remember to take everything AmanJohn says with a grain of salt. When he says "white people this" or "black people that" he's talking about the majority, not EVERY SINGLE person of that group.

I'm not a big fan of generalizing people based on their race. My wife (black) does it a lot when talking about white people. Then I ask her "am I like that?" and she says, "well you're different". Then I remind her that I'm white. So when she says "white people xxx" she's including me.

  • @renragged Thanks for this clarification....and that's right, you're my bud in the interracial marriage!!! I hate to even call it that as if to somehow make it different than just marriage..you know what I mean? Anyways, I always appreciate the comments you give =)

  • Pressing the "like" button doesnt cover how much this video rocks.

  • Aww rough day AmanJohnX.lol

  • everybody are just human to me i don´t care about race or anything belive me or not

  • LMAO sorry your frustrated..but im not sorry i laughed all the way through that..u shuld vent like this more often lol

  • if you came to the UK your view would be completely different!!!

  • Whats up with you today?

  • This video really ended up being a rant! It helps sometimes :D

  • Great rant.

  • 28 Sept, that's my birthday today :( Please don't be sad...

  • LOL

  • And don't be depressed. I'm probably one of the viewers you regularly get frustrated with, but I still enjoy watching your videos. I think I end up agreeing with you about 70% of the time, but conflict (in our minds) is what makes us grow as people, so I certainly do appreciate every single video you've made so far.

    Thanks

  • @JIYkp hahaha, man! don't worry! I'm not mad at any of my AmanJohnX viewers at all =) I'm talking about AmanJohnK - I'm happy to disagree with you, you give me ideas.

  • But I still haven't come up with or across any ideas for people unwilling to change, even when they have dependants (ie. children). What do you do when a parent won't get a job no matter how desperate a situation they're in. Any good ideas?

  • @JIYkp well you raise two interesting subsets of people ...the first group, such as native americans, I think are disempowered on a structural level, I don't think they need help as much as they need to be free to help themselves.....the other group is tricky....people unwilling to change. I'll get back to you on that, but I can say that others shouldn't have to pay the cost for their unwillingness to be..productive

  • This is truly a topic that I am torn on, especially when it comes to native Americans (yes, I have visited native reserves). On the one hand, just like you said, it encourages the receiver to becomes reliant and dependant. In emergency situations, it certainly does make sense (first 4 months or year after unemployment).

  • I disagree completely. I do not associate Muslims with terrorists or vice versa because I was conditioned from a young age because of going to school and living with Muslims and Arabs.

  • @benice90210 Well, I don't associate muslims with terrorist either or vice versa, and most of the people I grew up around were asians and arabs ...im just saying that people think about it....not that they actually believe it, but that it's just a reflex....malcolm gladwell wrote a pretty cool book on this.

  • @AmanJohnX that's not one of my reflexes. I have more negative reflexes about my own race than I do for Muslims or Arabs.

  • I like this. don't deny the racist thoughts you have, acknowledge them and reason through them.... that's really strong.

  • great video man i love the brutal honesty i very much respect that I'm tired of people who are to afraid of speaking their mind just because they're afraid of losing subscribers or pushing new ones away i hope to see more of these types of video on here after all this is AmanJohnX

  • Aww dont hate ALL of your audience!! I like your videos please dont hate me! D: lol

  • You should make "shut up!" as your catch phrase, lol.

  • "It kind of pisses me off that you're scared...and it makes me want to hurt you..." LMBO!!!

  • those who did the bake sale did not support their cause. Had they reversed the pricing, where blacks had to pay 2.00 and whites 0.80 cents it would have been more effective, as blacks would have seen the unfairness of paying 2.00 and maybe connect it to the unfairness of affirmative action.

  • racism exists and this is a ha bisky upload

  • whats your target audience for your amanjohnk channel?

  • @fatimat1987 Idk, who do you think it should be? (Sincere question)

  • I grew up with a friend who was middle eastern around the time when 9/11 was going on. I was 8 years old and I couldn't figure out why they were picking on my friend who was middle eastern. I got mad. They told me it's because his family blew up buildings. I talked to him about it and he told me it wasn't true. I didn't believe them anyways. From then on, I stopped looking at people through a lens of racism. I love my Arab brothers.

  • Man, I remember commenting on one of your videos like a year ago saying something along the lines of "i don't believe in race, we are all the same". Damn my views have definitely changed since then.

  • Lol really good video love the realness.

  • People take racism way too seriously. I refuse to say that I don't see race. I do. But I'm not a racist. Every race has their strengths and advantages as well as their disadvantages. You can ask just about anyone I know and they will tell you that I have said some things that could be considered racist. But I'm just recognizing the differences between races. It's ignorant to say that we are all the same, because we are not. People need to learn to accept diversity.

  • 28 person to watch this video :o i feel so cooool

  • sad to see you so bummed out :(

  • Btw I really like your sarcasm and douchey depressedness this video!

  • This might be kinda ignorant but i'm all for paying less for baked goods!!! I'm not to crazy about the racism topic but sometimes I sincerely believe that black people are more racist against themselves that other groups are. I also believe that the intent is more important than anything more often the not.

  • @CrysGilbert well there isnt much difference between ignorance and racist because the ones who are racist are also ignorant and dont really know anything about other races and dont care to
