  • No the only time he killed was in one issue where he versed the monk. but the monk wasnt human so it dosent really count. That is the only time he killed. in the Nolan Films Ra's a chance to save himself but he chose to stay instead of jumping off the monorail. And yes that is possible and he could have survived if he had taken it. As for Harvey Dent Batman tackled Dent and they fell. Its the way that Dent fell that killed him. Plain and simple

  • wow...i had no idea.

  • I start to see Bill Finger's name on a bunch of the newer stuff, but that's it. I was watching Batman (the movie) and it didn't say a thing about Finger in the opening credits. Bill Finger deserved a dick-ton more than he got.

  • 1: His killing In the first year, was stiooed due to bullshit censoring.

2: I don't know (quite) about saying that he's smart.

3: I don't agree (exactly), with what he said and done, but I've been handling it cautiously and carefully, and I've been seeing worse people, like Mother Teresa, in my studies.

...I Hope to gave given you something meaty and Well car-ethought out, and I don't necessarily agree with you, but just pointed it outm and you, at least, stuck to the necessary real details

  • You sir are a fucking imbecile. Bob Kane helped bring us The Greatest hero of all time. Have Some Respect. And the movie was supposed to be dark and guess what?!? killing is dark.

  • @vinnyitaly96...I, myself, formulated something along those lines, but I don't see him as being a fucking Imbecile, that's too exaggarated, and To me, it was just that he went to a Level that didn't necessarily have to be reached; He (el Bob-), wasn't great; but to me, that just meant he was somewhere "In between" the exaggarated pictures Of Good and Bad alike."

  • @vinnyitaly96 The whole point of this video is that Bob Kane DIDN'T bring us the greatest hero of all time.

So the only way to do Batman dark is to have him kill? That is bullshit logic. Look at the modern comics, the Nolan films, The Animated Series, and the Arkham Asylum / Arkham City games. They're all way darker than both Burton films combined and yet Batman doesn't kill in any of the portrayals I listed.

  • you and bob are gonn have a fist figh in the afterlife and bills gonna help u win

  • were is your proof and resources on any of your rampling and ranting bull shit if you think your a good credic you should write a comic book are direct a movie your self waner bros and hollywood when they buy rights it means they have the choice to alter any story they want and they gave tim burton total creative control with batman 89 so that would explain the darkness and the straying from the comics a bit its what hollywood does harry poter movies

  • HATER

  • I'm a big fan of Burton's Batman films (I know killing criminals isn't what the traditional Batman would do, but I don't mind because I'm used to there being different versions of Batman,) but I agree with you that Kane was not a nice man. Heck, he even looks more ike the Joker than Jack did in that photot!

  • Why do people ignore the fact that Batman killed Ra's Al Ghul and Two-Face in the Nolan films, but when a mook gets thrown on the ground in the Burton films, Batman's a murderer. And don't give me that "he didn't have a choice" or "he didn't have to save Ra's" bullshit. If they couldn't come up with a way to spare them, they shouldn't be writing it.

  • @DarthJoshReturns Two Face was an accident and he COULDN'T save Ra's. He can't carry someone with his glider wing things. Now YOU come up with a way he could have saved him. That was the whole point he couldn't save him and it was something he could live with and it's addressed in dialogue.

At what point in the Burton films does he address that he killed the joker blew up a factory full of people and burned a guy alive.

  • @DarthJoshReturns He didn't kill Ra's nor two face.

  • @1moe7 Really? He looked pretty dead when Batman knocked him down a few stories.

  • @DarthJoshReturns I thought he pushed him and he fell? lol

  • Bob Kane created name the Batman, simple as that!

  • @Jamerica360 he also drew him and made up the first stories

  • Comment removed

  • Batman kills people in Batman Returns too... And it was worse in that movie because it was even more brazen, he kills one of the penguin guys with a freaking bomb...! That always bugged me!!

  • I like Kane, and I like his art as well. He had the coolest Batman. He was also inspired by Zorro. Batman '89 works better than the Nolan films because Batman doesn't work in the real world. He didn't kill anyone in Axis Chemicals aside from the Joker's henchmen. As far as comic infighting goes, it exists between all the old characters. Thats a different argument all together- and a sign of the times. You may as well boycott Marvel and DC for all the crap they did to the creators.

  • @KillianReed

Without Kane and to a lesser extent, FInger, Batman today would not exist. And it was that 1st year that made him popular. Comics today are so convoluted. They take themselves too seriously. FInger pulled a "Paul McCartney", waiting till after Kane was dead to claim credit. Who knows what the truth was. Sadly, almost all the golden age creators died poor making Marvel and DC tons of cash.

  • @KillianReed Kane died in 1998 and Finger died in '74

  • @SuperWolsey

    great.

  • @SuperWolsey finger is still alive

  • @lownerwatch No, mate. Bill Finger passed away 1974. Does Wikipedia or any comic book history book mean nothing to you?

  • @KillianReed Burtons movie's are no where near as good as Nolans. Batman can work in the real world.

  • @Comedyteamz

Nolan's Batman sounds stupid. They try to be "epic" or "groundbreaking" but they never really achieve that. Katie Holmes pretty much ruined it too. The ending of the second Nolan film was stupid, not to mention "magic Joker do anything impossible". Batman works better in an unrealistic setting. You bring Batman to Bed Stuy Brooklyn or Camden NJ and see how long he lasts fighting crime.

  • @KillianReed Nolans batman didn't try to be epic. It was epic. Both of Nolans batman films ( can't speak for the third on the count of I haven't seen it) where great films, well written and directed. And Katie Holmes wasn't in the 2nd one so I dunno hoe she ruined the whole thing. Batman is put in the real world all the time since batman's origon in it of itself is a reflection of the violence the real world faces.

  • @Comedyteamz

I dunno, I don't think they were written well enough to be epic. And as hard as they try, Nolan's Batman IS NOT in the real world. Especially the boat bomb parts. And the Joker's "I can do anything without any explanation". And that terrible ending relying on some kind of warped and forced symbolism. That reflection of violence comment doesn't make any sense. In the real world Batman would be shot and killed within 5 seconds...if not that the FBI would get him.

  • @KillianReed

I get you re: realism and I think Nolan has too lofty ambitions for ex. not wanting to do Supes/Bats film or JL, or have Penguin or Riddler as villains. However, Bale's Bats >>> Keaton or Kilmer (obvi Clooney's sucked), or even Conroy's for that matter. And Ledger's Joker >>> Nicholson. And well its obvious that Two Face was done waaay better by Eckhart than Jones.

  • Nolan Sucks, he gave Batman a retarded sore-throat, talking like a retard and getting his ass kicked by heath ledger.

  • Bob Kane was an ass but he is dead and rotting in hell now and most of us now know the truth that Bill Finger was the real man behind the bat so in the end Bill won

  • @JayDee284 i wish bill one but that bitch kane won cuz everytime you watch batman in a cartoon movies comics anything you always see batman created by bob kane witch is sad

  • @SensationalSpidey well then it means NOTHING!!!

  • @SensationalSpidey

Well thanks that you enjoyed it

  • dude - your head is stuck up your ass. It SICKENS me to listen to your monotonous, boring, self indulgent drivel. Shut up!!! Go blow yourself up!!

  • Sucks?!!! He created batman the most badass mofo hero ever!

  • @Cvollmar2011 No he didnt. Watch the video.

  • @Ikarosus are you stupid he is the creator wow

  • @Cvollmar2011 No hes not, thats the point. Bill Finger is.

  • @Ikarosus yes sure if Bob Kane didn't creat batman, why in every batman movie he is casted as the creator. Bill Finger was never cast in any batman movie.

  • @Mercenary78 Becuase Bob Kane is fucking thief and money whore.

  • Comment removed

  • @Ikarosus If that was true, they would have never casted him. I like Bob Kane because he created Batman, Nolan doesn't understand anything about the character, he gave it a turn. i hate his batman. it was boring, dumb, weak and overrated. only because of Heath Ledgers death.

  • @Mercenary78 Bob Kane got credit because he raced to copyright the character before anyone else could, and didn't share the profits with Bill Finger. Finger came up with Batman's personality, background, character traits, and literally everything that has come to be defined with the character. Bill Finger created Batman, Bob Kane was just a money whore who cheated the REAL creator out of money that should have been his. Any real Batman fan knows this

  • @JesterHopperpot1 a real batman fan enjoys batman, and bill finger died a ver long time ago, he just took over. is that wrong?

  • @Mercenary78 That's the thing, Bob Kane never really "took over". He just took credit for something that really wasn't his creation, and as a result Bill Finger (the REAL creator of Batman) died in poverty while Bob Kane died rich. So yes, I would say that is very wrong

  • @JesterHopperpot1 i agree with you, but is there some real proof? because nobody ever talks about this. if this is a serious problem, why didn't 't Bill Fingers family bring Bob Kane to Court for the copyright?

And Nolan's and Burton used his name in the credits and why not Bill Finger. I have never heard anybody talk about this since youtube.

  • @Mercenary78 They put Bob Kane's name in it because they had to, his contract requires it. If Bill Finger had bought the rights before Kane could, you would see his name in the movies instead of Kane's.

As for proof, there are alot of articles you can read on it. Search"Bob Kane Stole" on Google, and read the top article on the search (titled "The Haunting of bob Kane". It breaks down Kane's career and explains why he's a fraud. Also, read "Batman: The Golden Age" by Neil Daniels

  • @JesterHopperpot1 Very sad to hear, but you should just enjoy Batman. Bob Kane is dead now so i think people shouldn't spend to much time on this. I didn't like Noland version because i found it boring, I like 89 better because of the action.

  • @Mercenary78 Burton's movies aren't bad, and I loved Keaton in them. But overall, I think Nolan's films hold up better as both Batman movies and as movies overall. Batman Begins and especially The Dark Knight feature some fantastic scripts with great moral dilemmas, a perfect representation of Gotham City, and Batman is much closer to the character he was in the comics. Only thing I don't like about the Nolan movies is Christian Bale's rasp, but that's more of a nitpick than anything else

  • @JesterHopperpot1

The thing is these old men have given us a mystery. You have to go all the way back to 1938 to actual see who created what. All those secrets died with them.

  • @SensationalSpidey what the fuck does that mean to me?

  • @SensationalSpidey

I'm really not a Bob Kane fanboy, i just pointed out the truth, you are the one who acts like a 5 years old fanboy (a blowshimselfupdude fanboy), you should learn what a butthurt fanboy troll is. You really try to provoke me like blowshimselfupdude ones tried, did you have anything better to do? Well, no matter, that will be my last comment to you, because i have better things to do than to debat with children

  • @MegaGoodoldtimes no you dont

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @SensationalSpidey

What should i explain? That blowshimselfupdude is retarded, sorry but i don't need anything to explain just listen by his retarded arguments, if you're too stupid for that than read his comments and you weill see that he attacks people for having different opinions and that's what 5 years old kids do. Face it not everyone likes that piece of shit and his shitty rewievs, cry more or just get over it, and i saw that you're an 15 years old pussy ass, so i can call you a boy

  • @SensationalSpidey its possible, i did write that over 2 weeks ago... oh no i wasnt mad, i was just pointing out how retarded blowshimselfupdude is.

  • @SensationalSpidey

I'm butthurt? Sorry but you're talking with the wrong person, I'm not a nerdy asshole who cries about stupid shit

  • @alexander3062

The same could be said back to you, why do you waste your time to response to a comment you don't care about? Of course the people bash other videos, somthimes i bash them too, but this guy is bashing other people for every single fucking reason and that's just childish, and your comment "Dont like it, dont watch it" makes no sense. I said it once we all have free speech, and i have the right to show my opinion, and if you don't like it kid than that's your problem

  • @MegaGoodoldtimes this is not directly aimed towards you but i've noticed people bashing other people videos, and if you don't like it why watch it? why even waste your time commenting on a video you don't care about?

  • You act like your opinions are golden, seriously stop treating your opinions as facts (because they're not). Your opinion is one of millions out there, your opinion dosen't matter, my opinion dosen't matter, no one opinion matters. I don't care how much you bash Tim Burtons Batman films, i love them, and i love them because they're Awesome, and not because Bob Kane said that they're good

  • It's like robthestoner001 said, we all have free speech and I'm an open-minded person too, and i also respect other opinions. But you act like a 5 years old kid, and you don't respect other opinions and call people morons who have a different opinion as i saw in your "Nostalgia Critic is Dead" video, and that's why you don't deserve free speech and an opinion

  • What Bob Kane did was wrong, but Tim Burtons Batman is Awesome, i think you don't like this movies because you don't like Bob Kane. Bill Finger and Jerry Robinson deserve a lot more than they got, but that dosent mean that Bob Kane didn't done nothing, he just didn't done that much how he said. Batman was created by Bob Kane AND Bill Finger, seriously dude chill out it's just a comic book, and you're whining about something that happend 50 years ago. PS You hate Bob Kane? Dude he's dead

  • everything you say is true except for one thing. bob kane and bill finger created batman. it doesnt matter what you tell yourself bro, just because finger made some changes doesnt mean he created it all on his own. it was bob kane who was given the offer to create the next "superman" for detective comics. he brought his friend bill finger in to help him. normally im all for personal opinion and freedom of speech, but you do not deserve an opinion. now to go to your todd mcfarlane sucks video.

  • It takes at least two people to make a superhero when doing comics. Not many can draw and write. Stan Lee, many times, had idea regarding Spider-man and other characters. He puts it to the artist to come up with the look. It's an argument that can go on forever who created what. Not knowing the contract Finger was under I can't comment. If I work for a company and while working create an anti-gravity machine, the company owns the patent not me.

  • Kane was a lousy thief. Bill Finger is the real Batman creator.

  • @MelishMud no he didnt

  • @MelishMud no he is not

  • @lownerwatch Yes he is

  • This really is pathetic how he took all the credit, but i think Finger got paid a fair or even share still for all his work.

  • bob kane dose suck.....but batman 89 is Awsome!!

  • @MegaFeeso leave him alone bob kane does not suck

  • @lownerwatch He made the concept drawing for batman but bill finger made the story and the characters/villans yet only kane takes credit which seems unfair

  • I agree Bob Kane was a talentless lying piece of shit who took all the credit for Batman and then the Joker. Shame what happened to Bill Finger.

  • Part 3 to my Batman killing points. I'm SO not excusing it nor am I saying that Batman should kill at ALL. But it is VERY incidental in those first films. PLUS it was a different time. It was not yet known exactly wha a comic book movie was and what translating comicbook stories to film MEANT. I thbink if you asked Tim Burton at the time 'does Batman kill in your movie' he would have to stop and think for sec. I do NOT think it was intentional. Otherwise, why not kill EVERY crook he encountered?

  • Part 2 to my Batman Killing argument in Batman b/c Utube gives us only VIRGIN tight space to raise debate. Axis chem "Full of people" Really? B/c I only saw BARELY half of dozen of the Jokers scum and on top of that a BatmanLESS Batmoble on Auto drive. FURTHER more I saw The Joker's men running TOWARD a heavily ARMORED *armed dangerous vehicle like they had a suicide wish. No1 can EVER show me Batman purposely WALKing up to a crook&murdering them. Otherwise there'd be a Glock19 on his belt.

  • This is in NO way an ARGUMENT or taking issue with what is said in this vid. Its just food for thought and not at all confrontational, so no big deal. I AGREE that to say Batman killed in his first year is a pathetic basis for arguing that he should/could kill in the 1st movie. But again I continue to maintane that his 'killing' in the first movie is really a matter of perception. To this DAY know one can show me where Batman PURPOSELY MURDERED ANY1.Axis chemicals "full of ppl"? really? part 1

  • The Shadow also wore a black costume and came out in 1930, and did his tracking down of criminals at night. The Phantom Detective in 1933 and he wore various disguises and was summoned by a red beacon (spotlight). In the stories they just called him the Phantom and came out before the other guy also called The Phantom(1936). So lots of the ideas were already in use before Bob Kane and Bill Finger used them.

  • A rich socialite donned a black suit and cape and became Zorro(Espanol(spanish) means Fox) came out in 1919 in pulp magazines.

  • If the uploader is so smart he should come up with his own idea... Oh that's right, he's a joke. The uploader sucks.

  • What character was a millionare, costume had short over pants and was skin tight, had mask with white eyes, and had a hidden cave? This was the Phantom in 1936 before Batman 1939. His cave was called skull cave not batcave though don't recall any bats in it though to lead people back to it.

  • @hydrolito zorro? haha

  • @holygasp What you don't seem to understand is that Bob Kane didn't make a character. Atlas Comics told him to make a superhero to sell alongside Superman. He drew a character named Bat-man. He had literally no ideas on the character just the drawing and the name. Then Bill Finger came up with how he should look his real name his character his supporting cast his gadgets his villains and everything that makes him him. Bob Kane had a name. But to you he's the creator.

  • Comment removed

  • @blowshimselfupdude did that doohde even watch and LISTEN to your vid. I mean you covered all of that. All he had to do was pay attnetion and LISTEN to the things you said. I completely understood, so much so that I commented on a seperate issue ALL together that you brought up and thats the continuing complaint that Batman kills in 89 which is technically true but I think more 'incidental' and 'collateral damage' type orientated than anything. Could B.Finger have fought it legally at all?

  • @blowshimselfupdude Your an idiot and have shown that you officaly know jack shit about histroy in your comment. Firstly atlas comics wasn't founded untill 1951(google atlas comics), and its father company, timley comics had absolutley nothing to bob kane, kane was an artist for DC which was originally called NATIONAL COMICS, hes as much the creator of batman as stan lee was of spiderman, oh wait now i bet you`ll say it was ALL ditko. And he sickens you? You never knew him in person you prick!

  • @blowshimselfupdude kane didnt even have the name. kane had an interview with detective comics editor vin sullivan who gave kane the opportunity to create the new "superman" kane took tracing paper and literally traced over superman, got rid of the s shield, gave him a mask, made it a little darker, and voila, you've got bird man! kane met with his friend finger at poe park to discuss this new "superman" finger said make it a bat instead of a bird. but you should know all this, right?

  • @blowshimselfupdude Yeah, I like Bob Kane, but Bill Finger often goes unrecognized...........

  • @holygasp So if someone you meet says they have this idea and then you start working with them on it. You make literally everything for it except the name (and the most basic idea of a crime fighter in a costume which wasn't he other guy's idea to begin with it was the company that hired hims). and then he tells everyone he made it and you "helped a little" your saying that he's the creator and you just helped out?

  • @blowshimselfupdude Atlas Comics? ATLAS COMICS (Marvel´s former name)? Are you suggesting Batman is a Marvel´s character?

Dude, when you make such a mistake your argument loses all credibility.

  • @teddyrocker Jesus christ. I meant timely. You lose all credibility by not understanding the word CREATE.

  • @blowshimselfupdude Timely was the other former name for Marvel. In fact, Atlas was the name of Timely distribution brand.

Batman was published by National Periodical Publications. How do you argue about who created anything when you don´t even know who published it?

  • @teddyrocker Because unlike MArvel DC doesn't constantly have a guy who made them famous talk about the old days. DC's just always been DC to me. But it really isn't the point. Your just so backed into a corner and know you're wrong that you have to jump at something like that to defend your point it's really sad.

  • @blowshimselfupdude A corner? Wich corner? Wich point?

You´re triyng to argue something you evidently know nothing about, not even the publishing company name. I bet you´ve just read some book or article saying something everyone already knows since the Golden Age (that Kane was a lousy bastard) an you think you discovered America. Kid, you still have too mutch to learn about comics in order to be able to argue properly. First of all, calm your nerd rage down, and then check your facts.

  • @blowshimselfupdude William Shatner worked on a book his name in large print on cover and most of the writing was done by two women and their names appeared in little print. Had they not worked with Shatner they might never have been heard of at all but then again I forgot what their names are so maybe they should get more credit.

  • @blowhimselfupdud what's your favorite incarnation of batman in film/tv

  • @holygasp It's more like your friend says "hey you should name your kid Julius" and then when you do have your kid you decide it's a good name and use it. That is literally all Bob Kane did. So if the person who names your baby is their father then your right.

  • @holygasp That's in no way the same thing.

  • @holygasp So I make a pour drawing of a new superhero named The Eagle. I have no ideas on the character or story or anything I just have a picture. I go to someone elese they have me completely redraw it to look like a completely different character and they create the personality all the supporting characters the character's secret identity and everything that defines the character as himself. At the end of the day all I had was the name. But according to you I am the creator of said character.

  • @holygasp Sorry, but you are wrong. Bob Kane didnt created any of these. He came with the character with blonde hair and red costume.

  • @holygasp Bob created the name. Thats it.

  • @holygasp Comics from that time were for kids and kids only. Bob didnt came up with character. HE came up with the character called Bird-Man, dressed in red. Everything else was Bill.

  • where do you get this information? I am interested in reading more

  • @knytrydr73 If you want to know more, there is a link in the description.

  • bob kane DOES suck!!!!!!

Bill Finger IS the Genius that should get his due credit!!!

  • Strong breathing, Vader.

  • Also, where are your sources?

  • @davidicus21 There is a link in the description.

  • Is it so hard to talk about superheroes without snorting and mouth breathing like an insufferable nerd?

  • ok seriously, stop pissing on Bob Kane. Everyone knows he created the "CONCEPT" of Batman and took it to Bill Finger and Bill gave Batman his look "Black and grey colors, horned mask etc..." So yes Bob "CREATED" Batman but Bill helped, don't believe me, check out The Bat Whispers on IMDB.com, and the millions of testimonies of people who will confirm that

  • @Beltzer0072 Actually it's been proven that he didn't base it on that movie or Zorro.

  • @blowshimselfupdude when was that proven because I went to source after source and thought it to be true

  • @Beltzer0072 Because the artwork he said he came up with after seeing the movie was proven to be drawn years later. And because Zorro isn't actually anything like Batman he's more like Spider-man then anything.

  • @blowshimselfupdude I heard more on The Bat Whispers than Zorro but the main thing is Batman is the coolest fucking hero ever created and my favorite at that

  • @Beltzer0072 Ok then the POINT is that you should be thanking Bill Finger the man who created Batman.

  • @blowshimselfupdude look i dont want to fight, so believe what you want and i will believe what i want ok?

  • @Beltzer0072 Yeah but your wrong.

  • @Beltzer0072 look bob kane isn't a genius batman wasn't the the most original concept ever a rich guy in the day who is a super hero at night lets see what other heroes who fit that description the Sandman, the shadow, zoro and mr.terrific his original design was lame and generic the main reason batman got famous was for the design bill finger all bob kane created was the name and kinda the belt because he drew it he drew it, so yeah bill finger created batman not bob kane.

  • @ComicBookFan97 Nope your wrong. The "actual" concept of Batman was just a guy in a bat costume that fights crime and that was created by Bob. Bill eventually joined in and helped design the look of Batman and helped come up with Bruce Wayne.

  • @ComicBookFan97 Also Bill himself in an interview said and I quote "Kane had an idea for a character called 'Batman', and he'd like me to see the drawings. I went over to Kane's, and he had drawn a character who looked very much like Superman with kind of ... reddish tights, I believe, with boots ... no gloves, no gauntlets ... with a small domino mask, swinging on a rope. He had two stiff wings that were sticking out, looking like bat wings. And under it was a big sign ... BATMAN."

  • @Beltzer0072 Thank you for explaining to us the exact same thing we already knew. Bob Kane just came up with the name "Batman". That is literally it. Bill Finger created everything else including the look. He made Bob Kane change the look into the look of the Batman that we got in Detective Comics #27.

  • @ComicBookFan97 So how did he create Batman if he didn't even know who he was at the time. You guys really need to do some research before bashing my intelligience and of course I know arrogant bitches like you and blowshimselfupdude won't listen because your too tightly wound up in your own "fantasy" belief when in fact your both blind to what is the actual truth. I hereby lawyer my statements

  • @Beltzer0072 Look now your just being stubborn, your putting ideas in your head to make your self believe your right when your not, the actual truth is Bob Kane didn't create Batman, Bill Finger did and your too wound up in YOUR fantasy to see that then I'm sorry, and please don't insult me for saying something you don't agree with , it will just make you look bad.

  • @blowshimselfupdude A rich spoiled man by day puts a black caped costume to fight evil by night, and his old butler is the only one who knows his secret.

Oh my god! It´s exactly like Spiderman! How didn´t I see it before!

  • @teddyrocker Spiderman wears no cape and has no butler and isn't rich. He had an uncle who was murdered sort of like Bruce Wayne's (Batman's) father, and his aunt and uncle were old sort of like ma and pa Kent. Worked for a news paper like Clark Kent (Superman), but as a photographer insteads of a Reporter.

  • Go fuck yourself faget, Bob Kane is dead. I hope you fricken rott in hell for even saying such a thing. I hope you get runned over by a bus.

  • @likedat2 He said in this video that hes dead. And why should he rott in hell, when only thing he did, was saying that plagiarist and liar is plagiarist and liar?

  • @Ikarosus Batman has been molded differently from over the years and told different ways and Bob Kane formatted a basic blueprint of the story and what not for the character. I personally think that Bob Kane just twisted a few things to make it into his own idea just like how the ipod was a twist of the mp3 player.

  • @likedat2 I am not sure, if you are defending Bob Kane, or bashing him.

  • @Ikarosus I'm just saying that anything that can be molded into something some what original and then patented with a symbol is something that is of its own in this universe. Same thing with for example Quiksilver and Flash. Both have the same power but different origins.

  • @likedat2 Well, but the Bob Kane didnt do any of that. He didnt created the original concept. And when the character was evolving, he was drawing it, but ideas came for Bill Finger and later he stopped working on Batman completely. I am not saying he didnt have any influence, or that he desnt deserve any credit, but definetly not as much as he (even after his death) gets.

  • @Ikarosus They should credit everyone that contributed to Batman.

  • @likedat2 There is diffrence between getting credit as one of the creators and getting all those money and praise for something that was done by others. Bill was truly apreciated after his death, and still not as much as he deserves. I mean, people are complaining about Jack Kirby not being apreciated for his work with Stan Lee, despite Stan being always happy to talk how they BOTH created their characters and how amazing Jack was, and that Bill did much more than Jack, when he was creating Bat.

  • @Ikarosus wow is jack still alive?

  • @likedat2 Nope, he is dead.

  • It must be so hard to be you.

  • what do u know about history of batman

  • In my opinion there's nothing wrong with Bob Kane. I think you're just hating on him because you don't like Burton's Batman.

  • We really need to stop hating on Kane. Without him, one of the greatest Comic book heroes of all time wouldn't be here. I doubt that finger( another great comic genius) would just let him take all the credit!! I can't believe you said you couldn't even look at him.

  • @joey620productions He didn't just LET him. Kane legally swindled Finger's creation from him.

  • ...He's long dead you fukin nerd

  • @busessuck1 He said in his video smartass.

  • @Ikarosus so what if he said it?

  • @busessuck1 Then your coment s pointless. You critisize him for something, he didnt do.

  • @Ikarosus I have trouble understanding you, what didn't he do?

  • You know what, when I saw the title of this video, I was not going to watch this. However, after listening to you, I am in disarray. But I thank you.

  • This video is a fountain of truth. Bob Kane is a fraud. A liar. Bill Finger is the real Batman creator.

  • fuck u;] bob kane is the man n if he was smarter than everyone around him then then more power to him. u can bash him all u want but that cant change the fact that in 30 yrs no one will remember u n that the name bob kane will still live on n btw dont bother trying to insult me either because no retort will ever equal the self loathing im experincing for even clicking on or even sitting through this video.

  • @darkcoyote42 But thats the thing. Everybody is gonna remember his name, for somethign he never done.

  • yeah well the stan the man didnt create spiderman same as stan wont tell you that steve ditko was co creator of spiderman

  • @theartistwhocrys Stan did create Spider-Man, and he gives Steve Ditko the credit of being the co-creator.

  • your voice is fucking anoying..and you have no idea what you fucking talking about dude..a swipe artist.....yeah ok...

  • You can't deny that this batman was good.

  • Bill Finger should get credit as co-creator of Batman. What happened to him was rotten. And although Bob Kane contributed very little, he should also get a co-creator credit. He came up with the concept, even if it was a knock off of Zorro. He also drew Batman's first appearance in Detective Comics #27, even if he traced over other people's work for some panels. Although I'm glad to see Bob Kane gave credit to Bill Finger at the end of his life, I wish he had lobbied more to give Bill a byline.
