  • wakes up people with fresh mind

  • i once played this song to a french man... u wont believe me he now listens to this 24/7

  • Sanskrit is the mother of all tongues, & it is glorious to listen to these beautiful words enunciated so perfectly by the legendary M.S.

  • These are magical sounds, i do not understand a word of it at all. but still my mind gets such a pure joy which is so unique. The wavelength and frequency of these sounds might match with my brain waves and creates a special kind of resonance which so addictive just like I again fall in love. And all that magic of love is flowing everywhere. I am sounding poetic but I feel something like this anyways.

  • this gives us new way of living style,,,,,,,

  • thanks for sharing ,,,, very good ,,,, god bless u... thanks

  • Listen this everyday morning.

  • Ms.SubbLakshmi.....beautiful voice

  • 43 dislikes?!! how can anyone dislike this?

  • I listen to all types of music genres from heavy metal to classic to physic rock(no hip hop or pop). but there is NO SONG that I would ever like to hear apart from this. The voice, the chanting just ooze positive and huge amounts of energy which the body observers.

  • God bless ....

  • I am a Christian, I grew up in Chennai. Even though this is a religious song there is nothing else in the world that can wake me up with such happiness!!!!!!!!!! Its the sound of home and its the sound of 6000 years of my civilization. India is the only place in the world where we will reply to texts on our smartphone and proceed to perform 2000 year old traditions in the same spirit as they were performed back then :-).

  • @helloimajay2008

Yes...very nice comments. Its is just what everyone of us experience.

  • @helloimajay2008 well said, you are a true indian christian. Thanks.

  • @helloimajay2008 Same here I am a Christian from Vellore, I feel exactly the same. I don't understand it, but its so serene.

  • @helloimajay2008 Lovely comment sir.

  • om namo vasudevaya

  • Thank you very much for uploading this! Listening to the incredible Sanskrit lyrics, and watching the ancient intricately carved temples (which, incidentally, would defy today's architects with all the technology & equipment at their disposal) makes me incredibly proud to be a Hindu, and to born of those evolved and sophisticated souls who created these wonderful temples, conceived of such a majestic and grand faith, and birthed Sanksirt, truly the mother of all languages.

  • @fossilshale

2000 years from now the hanging garden, all the ancient bridge etc wil not be there it will all be turned to dust and will be remembered in history books only .

But you can still come to india and find people still chanting the Shri Venkatesh Suprabhatam just like the very day it was composed .So please stop your idle talk. And for all your criticism is like throwing stones in the ocean

  • I have literally grown up listening to this song...even to this day i wake up to this song...thanks to my mom... :)

    Thanks for sharing it...

  • Hello, You are giving too much importance to fossilshale, please leave him/her alone. It seems (s)he does not have much idea about history nor did he read any of the spiritual books, obvious from his comments. This kind of people look to create sensation. How are you different when you respond to malicious intented comments! just enjoy Suprabhatham! I request owner to remove all irrelevant comments and responses. This is a religious song, NOT a speech to entertain criticism / hatred comments.

  • Why should I but those who tried twist history and truth and simply to fool people of the world by their money and other evil power should be ashamed!

Son of Saraswathi own leave those liars and twister of history.

  • I AM A HINDU BUT STILL BELIEVE THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD I GO TO TEMPLE BUT DO BELIVE THAT THERE IS GOD IN MOSQUE AND CHURCH AND I WANT TO QUOTE JUST ONE WORD " THATHWAMASSI" WHICH MEANS THAT U R ALSO GOD OR THERE IS GOD INSIDE EVERYONE.

  • @1231SURYA Well said!..Just dont walk into a mosque and say this though....you might get ur ass shot!....LOL

  • fossilshale, you ugly shit claim that you know history. You are just filthy brainwashed cunt who dont know the modern discoveries. Update your knowledge!

As per the recent genetic study Aryans are in India around 40,000 years.

I can prove most convincingly that all civilization like Indus,Sumerian and Egyptian were found by Aryans.

You moron stop telling last century fig of imaginations!!

Do you know anything on Hinduism!! Is it!!

    Gay fucker!!

  • @Saraswathiputra ....be ashamed to name self saraswathuputra

  • Oh yeah, and you are so smart to read the whole Rig Veda you sorry as-.. nevermind. Get a life. Why don't you question Muslims? Christians? Drink holy water (Christian,) Muslims throw rocks, or something like that. I have nothing against them. Infact I've been to a mosque and church because I believe their is only one God (Brahmana), and all religions lead to it. In the rig vedic times they did worship fire; that doesn't aassociate us with Zorostirianists. And there is love in the Upanishads.

  • Alright. You are probably one of them Dravidian guys who think Hinduism is a big ol' joke. As a Tamil Iyer (Brahmin.) I shall enlighten you. I don't think myself as a Aryan; infact, I almost dislike them (No offense, guys!), I'm a Dravidian (Southern Indian.)

They worship a black idol for the less spiritual. I hardly worship a idol, I merely say Aham Brahmasmi (I forgot what it means, I'm 13.) We drink cow urine? Its our rituals, and OUR spirituality. Who are you to question us?

  • @swaathy6 Pls know that there never was a dravidian or Aryan race to start with ..it was the western historians that have made this up..this theory was later pulled back ..aham brahmasmi means I am brahma meaning man is god and creator(thats why they say god resides in every1 of us).Idol worship is just a symbolic way to channel the energies of humans .eve religion has a diff way for doing this be it under a cross,in front of an idol or just praying in a specific direction.

  • I appreciate that you have posted this. ;+)

  • Cannot explain the feeling after listening to this spiritual song. People need to be very lucky to hear Shrimathi MS Subbalakshmi suprabhatam.

This song will live as long as humans live in this world!!

  • this song transcends the language barriers as the soul listen's.

    kaviraj b

  • i like this GOD

  • @santhosh3806 if god is everywhere why worship a black idol?

  • It would have been at that time, to have recorded this song,.. wonderful spiritual singing by ms subbulakshmi,.. this song even though just a vocal track and a DT (double track) of subbulakshmi,.. would have been even more harder to complete the recordings compared with MaargaNa Devotional Album.. Every spiritual songs to be produced or have been produced,.. will face a severe challenge,.. until and unless the presence of the respectful Lord himself being there during the recordings..

  • Can anybody explain, what is "Vykuntam". In one song, "Vykuntam" is depicted as a

"Place for FUN". Can anybody explain why "Vykuntam" is used as a "place for FUN".

Also, Can anybody explain, what is "kyvalyam"

    Please. Thanks

  • Vaikuntam in fact is the heavenly abode of Lord Vishnu ... Kaivalyam is fulfillment of desires

  • @ourfulltube vaikuntham is heaven and a place of uneneding bliss. It is the abode of Lord Vishnu. It is similar to "jannat" in islam and heaven in Christianity. "Kailash" is another name of heaven in Hindusim. It is the abode of Lord Shiva.

  • That should read "Sanskrit rules define a a small pause (ceasura or यति) after the 8th syllable in each quarter of Vasantatilaka"

  • Not to point out errors, but a minor point for practitioners. Most of the verses are in the Vasantatilaka metre which has 14 syllables in each quarter. Sanskrit rules define a a small pause (ceasura or यति) after every 8th in each quarter of Vasantatilaka. MSS stops at the 8th syllable only if there is a word boundary, not if the Samaasa is continuous. If one stops at every 8th syllable, the Sanskrit and musical rhytm will be in resonance and the singer and listener will relish even further.

  • This is a great musical rendition, without any compare. It's a pity I could not find the original accurate Sanskrit text without errors anywhere on the Internet. There were approximate meanings at most places, including Wikipedia. I added the Sanskrit text on Wikipedia today under the "Suprabhatam" page (section Text_and_meaning). Read and enjoy. Also note that the Suprabhatam has 28 verses and not 29, as the first verse "kausalyaa suprajaa ..." is from Valmiki Ramayana (1.23.2).

  • When the western world is searching for leathers from animals for the cold, east was wearing Silks !

  • @wwinds oh yeah thats why indians still drink cow urine, thinks themselves as aryans(funny), where was india when sumerians, babylonians build bridges, roads, hanging gardens on palaces in 2000 bc

  • Comment removed

  • What is not recorded in Hindu philosophies before the whole world was foraging in ice ? Does western world know any pinch of philosophy before finding the whiffs of spelled east ?

  • @mytyra1 can you please stop putting down other faiths. Be it Vishnu, Jesus, Allah or Buddha, all deities and religious deserve equal respect as all have the same objective at the end of the day = live a good life without causing harm to others.

  • very very nice stotra

    i lile it

please keep on recording such songs for people

  • Man shares his feelings with lifeless materials. It is crazy. Rather if he serves needful men who have life, his life will be meaningful indeed. Stones animals and trees have never spoken.

  • @superatheistist Without faith, man is a creature bereft of roots; he dries and withers quickly.

  • @4bbc Your own Holy Books say : Doing good works also is equalent to faith in god. And also say that these man made idols should be forbidden to gain wisdom from god.

You better do some good work before you go from this world. All your comments in various videos are getting negative reception. that shows you write no good things.

  • @superatheistist SUPREMEST TREASURE

At Thirupathi or at Bhadhraachalam, you find only a stone shaped as an idol; as stone, it is of little value. But, when feeling permeates it, when devotion transmutes it, the stone becomes the SUPREMEST TREASURE of the human mind. Man does not know this secret of transmuting every act of his into sacred worship and so, he suffers from disappointment and grief.

  • @superatheistist All of you stfu with your ancient world superstitions. Jesus F'ing Christ this is the 21st century. There is no heaven or hell or god as you conceive of him you morons

  • @ioport what u said is correct. there is no hell or heaven outside this universe. observe the life of people around you. then you will realise that the accounts are settled before one is dead. check ur own balance sheet. then u will be convinced that for each and every action there is a record and u are answerable. to control our lust and other evil thought it is always desirable to belive in something or someone. u can name it anything

  • @bindusanjeev99 Yawn. Listen, before you try so hard to become enlightened, how about learning some proper grammar and spelling first?

  • @ioport yes! i know i am pouring water on a closed vessel.......... no use.

  • @bindusanjeev99 Whatever makes you feel superior, you phony dipshit. You're as bad as any self-righteous Christian. It's not even about finding "god" for you and treating people with love and compassion. It's all about your ego, isn't it?

  • feels like i'm back in india :)

  • @SleepingJewsLie You are dumb. Race mixing is important for unity. Have s*x with Jews. Don't kill them.

  • Good morning :)

  • gimme a break with this enuf already this is horrible

  • @stevenblouis Then close the window. Go away.

  • so wonderful to wake up to this.

  • even god can't resisit waking up after hearing this

  • The best song sung to till-date for Lord Mayon.

  • @JesusPaid4You

Maybe, but even he seems to have been influenced by Hindu philosophies as many of his teachings were already recorded in Hindu scriptures much before Jesus.

Anyway, please do not post comments irrelevant to this video.

  • @314159265352 i didnt see any verse in hindu upanishads saying love your enemies or show your other cheek to get beatings, to be frank hinduism is a branch of zorastrianism, remember the early hindus worship fire in the rig vedic times. grow up.

    Christus, Christ, Krsta, Krishna

Both the same role. Both the same theological doctrine.

The origin of everything is in Hinduism.

  • @JesusPaid4You pray to god to open your yes to enjoy the life you have. there's no heaven.

  • @JesusPaid4You show some respect, you are free to practice you belief in jesus and we respect that , but please do not interfere with our religion. Show some share of maturity that jesus possessed.

  • @JesusPaid4You WELCOME TO Shri Venkateshwara Suprabhatam

If you have the strong desire to see God, contemplate on Him with un-wavering faith.

  • @4bbc why all that? just drink cow urine. isnt it?

  • @fossilshale Dear brother please stop your ignorant talk , and show respect to other peoples religion .

you say that during 2000 bc sumerians etc built the hanging gardens of babylon etc what did the people of india do ?

May I ask you a simple question ?

where is the sumerian civilization now ?

come to india my dear brother and you can find rituals as old as time still being done passed and followed from generations in a fine unbroken line."the worlds oldest living civilisation "

  • @JesusPaid4You YES! LOVE IS THE WAY TO GOD!

    LOVE AND DEVOTION

Above all else the Supreme secret of the Vedas is to Love God. Through pure devotion a seeker can attain the Supreme consciousness. To realise God as Love, is the highest teaching of the Vedas.

  • @JesusPaid4You

He is, but not THE ONLY way.

    Take off Your blinders

  • God Bless You.

    Hinduism for Beginners

As a diamond shines in splendour when it is cut into many facets, the foundation principles of Hinduism will shine brightly and illumine the world, when one starts the inquiry, patiently and enthusiastically.

  • @4bbc

  • @DupersFucker

    Hinduism for Beginners

That is the reason why Hinduism alone stands out as a religion that strives for the well-being of all peoples, in all countries, at all times.

  • @DupersFucker

    Hinduism for Beginners

The basic Hindu faith is not for Indians alone but is for all mankind. The word "Hindu" is composed of the two syllables "Him," meaning Himsa (violence) and "Du" meaning, "distant." Hinduism is the faith that makes violence distant.

  • @4bbc I'm interested to know, where did you get this meaning of Hindu from? I mean I have done my study of history of Hinduism and have studied it's books (I'm a Hindu too) and I've not come across this term. If you could tell me where is it that you found a Hindu/Sanskrit origin to "Hindu", it'll be something new for me to read

  • @DupersFucker

    Hinduism for Beginners

The religion of the Bharatiyas is the most ancient in origin. Having regard to its Vedic basis, it has been described as Hinduism. The essence of this faith is its universality as expressed in the saying: "Lokaas samasthaas sukhino bhavanthu" (May all the peoples everywhere be happy). The Bharatiya faith laid stress on the happiness of everyone.

  • @DupersFucker

Though God is compassionate and may forgive all sinful acts, every human being has to necessarily pay for his/her sins.

  • This is a stone. It cant speak, answer or walk. It is still and cant respond. A true believer of living God will make this stone ashamed. If you put any ugly water also on this stone it cant do anything to that person. Many families have died in tragic accidents after pilgrimage to this place. Hindus are foolish.

  • @agashok007

Thanks for contradicting yourself! Surely if 'God will make this stone ashamed' the stone can have feelings!

Besides, God should be able to accept any form of worship whether its by dancing naked around a fire or praying to a pile of poop as long as its done with faith and clean hearts. And if even then if He doesn't accept it, God's not being very God-like is he?And if that's the case, He doesn't deserve worship at all

Point being, l'm feeling sorry for you.

  • @agashok007

Not sure where you got the 'tragic accidents' part but you may want to double-check your stats. Besides, even if they 'died', they would have passed away happy given that they were doing something they sought and loved. After all, it was a 'pilgrimage'. What better way to end a good life then with a good death?

  • @shivrajvishnu

    What exactly is your duty?

  • @4bbc YOU ARE HERE ALSO BOOT LICKER? YOU ARE EVERYWHERE LIKE GOD YA.

  • @DupersFucker

    What exactly is your duty?

  • @DupersFucker

    Hinduism for Beginners

Hinduism is the one religion that proclaims the truth that there is nothing separate from God and it proves it too. Because people are not able to understand this fundamental integrating principle, hatred and malice have grown in the followers of other faiths.

  • @DupersFucker

    Hinduism for Beginners

Our body is also like a temple with magnetic power. Hence, it has to be utilised for sacred purposes. When you give room to evil traits like anger, jealousy and hatred, much of your magnetic power is wasted.

  • @DupersFucker

    Hinduism for Beginners

Only an ardent devotee can understand and experience the bliss of oneness with God. Sugar tastes bitter to a person suffering from malaria. The defect lies in their tongue, not in the sugar. So is the case with a person immersed in worldly desires. If you are immersed in it, you cannot experience the sweetness of Divinity.

  • How I would love to live & work in India for a while, where spiritual life flourishes still, where Sri Krishna, Buddha and so many great souls have placed their feet! Namaste

  • @hearts0ngs that wud be highly ill-advised my friend...I have spent most of my life in India and I know its not worth leaving a developed country behind...well Indians have no choice but to make the best of a crappy situation by being spiritual, delusional, religious and patriotic...It is an exotic shit-hole... Divest yourself of all notions of contemporary exoticism! It may be a spiritual land but of what use is the spirituality etc. when it has some of the most corrupt officials in the world?

  • @tarnicles Why does it have corrupt officials, normal citizens who provide bribes to get things done are also criminals of this crime. Citizens have right to vote and make their voices heard. Its fear and selfishness of the people that make theses corrupt officials corrupt and screw the nation. So basically its every Indians fault that the nation is in the corrupts officials hand.

  • @MyurenJ that is exactly my point...we have a mighty facade of spiritualism and exoticism which is actually a bait for attracting tourists and unsuspecting culture-enthusiasts. Every Indian is at fault here, including myself. I try to bring about a change in my own little way to expiate for my collusion in the fray of corruption. But i surely would not advise a person from a developed country to come live in this mess simply because it is exotic.

  • THANKS NICE SONG TO START MY DAY LOVE IT

  • Every time I hear this song/shloka, I close my eyes and I think about my good times back home all those years back. Those days when I used to get up early morning to study and this song will be floating into my room along with the cool breeze through the open window in my bedroom.

It transcends all religious and language barriers.
