Nice! Tony Iommi is another guitarist who overcame the loss of his finger tips to go on to be the guitarist for Black Sabbath... a guitar pioneer. It certainly can be done. This is considered to be the most difficult song for a guitarist to learn and play. I would love to see you play the entire song since you were able to play the most difficult section... the rest shouldn't be too hard. Bravo!
Hermoso, creo k lo que hace es un ejemplo de superacion y es admirable que apesar de ese accidente siga tocando y mas algo tan dificil como es esta obra.
It was good. I too have had 2 hand injuries (fall off a ladder (r) and almost losing the index finger (l).
A very difficult piece and you did it. I play for myself first, even when in front of others because I enjoy it. Enjoy the abilities you have despite circumstances. Let's hear more.
hah, I can't remember what I had commented, but I guess it does appear there are haters out there. maybe I said something about God or faith in Christ since you're refering to "hateful atheists." anyway, love Bach and this song. this man played it very well! I'm impressed. I hope the "hateful atheists" or whoever they are don't remove this comment as well! jk :P
A musicologist named J Spitta once said that Bach's chaconne was "the triumph of spirit over matter". This remark fits your effort as well. Very nice...
Go slower on 00:13, and put emphasis on the last note. Slower and more legato on the chord progressions/shifts. Also watch your wrist. Despite all that, great tone and well played. Just relax. and don't worry about the tempo so much.
Don't worry, you still have more fingers than Django Reinhart had! If it get's to bad there is always the dobro... Anyway, great playing, I have two damaged fingers myself on left hand and know what it feels like.
Most situations get better over thee years luckily.
It is one of the hardest, Ginastera's Sonata, Berkeley's Sonata, Tedesco's Sonata, Elliot Carter's "Changes," are also very difficult to play, let alone "master."
i really ask myself what is wrong in the heads of so many guitar players. Why do they always have to tell others what they should change in their playing. propably its a problem that lies in the sick peronality of those people. Way to go Sir! You've earned my respect not only for the accomplishment itself but also congratulations for the perseverence of conquering a physical obstacle, perhaps for many other seemingly insurmountable. Estoy esperando con mucho placer escuchar la segunda parte. Bonne chance!

Not bad, but your technique is not up to par for this piece. You need to go back and refine the fundamentals before tackling such a massive work.
Benjiko 2 years ago
that's cold. music is not about such perfection. and if you noticed, he's not on stage hoping for some acclaim. he's learning and ROCKING this song.
moving backwards isn't the answer, just keep playing it, make it YOUR OWN.

Hello community,
i really ask myself what is wrong in the heads of so many guitar players. Why do they always have to tell others what they should change in their playing. propably its a problem that lies in the sick peronality of those people. They`re only thinking in terms of technique and competition. No sense for a normal way of living together with other musicians. Hey wake up. Don`t take yourself too serious !!
