Atheltic gear in the 80's was just extensions of bathing suits and when the designers of mortal combet were designing sonya blazes clothes they were just choosing a popular style. Spandex was everywhere back then, as well as now. Ten years from now they will make fun of the athletic gear people wear these days.
@roothands mostly because so many prints of these exploitatin films were destroyed when studios were cleaning outtheir vaults in the early 90's. films were jsut being destroyed. Low budget horror films were the first to go so not many prints survived to this day. What does exist, the studios know collectors will pay for so they jack up the prices.
