i am currently raising my little brother who has cf. after realising how ill he was my mother took off about 5 years ago so i lived with my aunt a while and got sole custody of him when i graduated. he laughs when people ask my 21 year old self if this 9 year old is my son im like oh cmon! honestly? sometimes for a laugh he will look at some one with a serious face and be like well of course i am. they believe him until he bust up laughing... gee i love that kid to pieces.

I love this song, I have a cousin who passed away from CF in 1995 and in 1999 I gave birth to a son with CF. I only allow myself to cry when I listen to this song by myself. I love it, gives me away to release all the pain and hurt that comes from watching your child suffer through a disease you already watched one family member suffer through.

We played this song at my little brothers Funeral. He died when he was 2 months and 10 days old. Till this day i wonder what my life would be like if he was still here. Its been 10 years since he has passed and i miss him dearly. I was 8 when he died and i am now 18. I miss him a lot.

For those of you that do not know it, I had to beloved brothers, my best friends, with Cystic Fibrosis. Michael passed within a week of turning 30, Lenny right after he turned 29. They were VERY special men and I miss them dearly but I know they are in heaven watching over me. I left the lyrics on this song also, it will touch your heart. Tammy Cochran who sang it, sang it about her brothers that passed at young ages of Cystic Fibrosis. Hope it touches you as it does my heart.
