@8675tree09 You need to wake up to the current state of affairs. Women receive lesser punishment compared to their male counterparts of the same crime. This was not always true, but it is now and you can thank Feminism for it. Watch my Video on Sandra Cantu and Huckaby, it was made before the conviction and I say this fact about lesser punishment at the end of the video. Was I psychic? No. I just have my eyes open and I hope you can open yours.

@yinyangbalance I am totaly aware of current state of affairs when it comes to women getting lesser punishments . I am saying it is ashame that any one who kills a child doesnt get the death penalty right away . If the gov. would kill these crimminals after all apeals are exausted man or woman eventualy crimminals would get the picture . My eyes are only open to the justice and saticefaction of any family that has lost a family member to murder.

@8675tree09 I agree. The problem (ironically) here is that criminals are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty and have the right to a jury of their peers. The reason why Huckaby got life and not death is because the prosecution knew her peers might let her off the hook being a single mom not to mention a female, so they settled for life and avoided a jury. Some of,us like you and I, can see they painfully obvious, that women can murder and rape. We are lucky she is off the street at all!

@yinyangbalance Yeah I agree it makes me so angry as a woman to read and see crime news where women have committed the most ugly evil crimes towards people..and some of them get away with their crime or try to do to some BS. excuse they make up...yet a man committs the same crime and he gets way more time or death row.. are laws need to be more fair when it comes to crime..it should not matter what color or sex a person is if they commit a crime they got to go.

@AriesXDiamond Tears your heart out to see the Father's reaction to all of this, I know it did mine. I believe Melissa should have gotten the death penalty. I don't understand how people cannot see that when you take a life, esp. a child's, you have forfeited your own life. Start enforcing the Death Penalty in these cases and we will see less of these cases and rid the earth of vile creatures that find enjoyment in torturing and killing our children.

@TyneRoseMedia when he said "Repent, and think about what you've done" that's the case closed right there. this world is really fucked up, but there is a small chance of mercy upon justice. if she is really sorry, and wishes her life was turned around, then the punishment shouldn't last forever. they need to loosen the life sentences and give rehab classes because if no one gives them another chance, then who will? there's another man in for the same reason and soon many more will be locked up.

@AriesXDiamond susan smith, is she still alive? and there was the one lady who burned her house down with 2 boys in it, but she is appealing currently. I cant think of any other mothers who have exhausted all appeals...what I mean, is they aren't the ones who feel guilt, so suicide is not an option for them, adapting to prison life is easy when you are crazy. And if she is crazy, apparently it is unethical to kill her.
