I absolutely love this show, but I hate that they split the DVD release into two halves of the first season. It's a money making tactic and it worked on me, but I wish they would just release whole seasons. Or at least use nicer packaging like BSG.

Speaking of CAPRICA, how do you think that show is doing? I've only seen the pilot episode so far.

I haven't watched since the pilot either, but I know the ratings have been pretty terrible so far...

I think so too. You know, I think it would have been better if they had done it as a movie rather than a television show. Do you think?

IMO Caprica, SGU and Lost are now all promising more than they actually give. I see 'em and think they're all very watchable, well written and acted but at the end I'm usually left feeling that nothing much... actually happened.

Well, hopefully that would all change with something big happening at the end. As for SGU, I have a feeling they're going to end the season with a bang. The last thing I would expect from them on their first season finale is another "Where do we go from here?" type of ending which is so boring and dry. That's indicating the show may never be coming back.
