Well, Donovan is a much better guitar player, although Paul can play many different instruments. From a songwriting point of view, a comparison of their best work is probably a tie. Paul is more prolific and eclectic anyway, while Donovan is an incredibly fine lyricist.
@anythingnew well when the beatles came from india they wrote the great double album The Beatles yeah ! when donovan came back he wrote his equally as good a gift yeah ! well the beats had 4 songwriters on that disc and donovan had but himself !
