  • Yeah, a Les Paul is just another one of his crazy Strats. I like it.

  • @ltcurry Look again...Les Paul?...nope.

  • Pulse is the best album

  • david gilmour is de topper, vooral het nr comfortably van 1989 in venetie. geweldige show, wat toen live werd uitgezonden via div. tv stations

  • Damn. I hope the people at this concert know how lucky they are - you have more chance of winning the lottery than seeing Kate Bush sing live. Literally.

  • @8BlueSkies absolutley they are both legends.................got to go ive won

  • GD IT Why cant I go to shit like this.

  • Comment removed

  • @Sharmilka Hi Dharmaika , yes , is the last kate performance _

  • @marcelomark2007 let's say latest, just to keep hope :D

  • w.w.w.w.w.Roger

  • I love Kate Bush, although her voice doesn't seem suited to this song. David Gilmour, however, can do no wrong. IMHO...

  • terrible! she is.. So weak

  • On se demande ce que vient faire là Kate Bush...Pas de voix, elle qui chante si bien d'habitude:Ils ont du vouloir se faire plaisir, tout simplement. Rachel Fury ou une autre, j'aurais mieux compris...

  • dave before receding

  • What a voice on that man! TIMELESS!

  • @pimple22 She's been retired for years ,your out of date, check your label.

  • @kooodeal the date is 2002 , in a Gilmore concert

  • @pimple22 Learn how to spell!

  • @pimple22 dont give up, running up the hill, cloudbusting is a well known tune even by today for its catchy chorus that was used by a dance group called Utah Saints the song something good, erm A Womans Work is one of the best tunes around.... so please dont just say wuthering heights you twat, she wasnt just famous for that. Respect the Bush or go and Such some cock.

  • @JadMock You sound very upset , why is that , your not supposed to get upset, be a nice little chap and go and sit in a dark room, and settle down.

  • Rogers sounds is good but have to admit David is easier on the ear.

  • i love gilmore but both roger + dave together do it best :)

  • Can we get better quality, PLEASE... Geez... enough with the iphone recordings...

  • Kate should have made more records than she did and unfortunately her live appearances are so rare. I guess she never really liked the spotlights...

  • she's a nut....therefore I love her

  • First time I hear her voice after hear her song Wuthering heights With david giomour in comfortably numb is awesome

  • I do agree that David is a better singer than Roger. although all the best songs were written by Roger.

  • I agree with you hricardo1977.

  • que Combinacion grande Kate Bush y David Gilmour!!!

    Dioses :)

  • The nurse and the doctor..

  • I Think these versions were not a serious attempt to sound like the pink fkoyd

  • only Roger can sing it with authority and really looks like he's been through it.

  • For the doctor vocal part,I tought that the live8 reunion version was the best (with waters singing of course) ....... until I heard the version with Bowie , which is truly amazing and definitely the best !

  • Fantastic! Brillant! Superb!

  • LOVE KATE!

  • i prefer David Gilmour's voice... I find it better than Roger! Delicate sound of thunder is the perfect album! Criticize at will... it's my opinion!!

  • Agree mate, Dave is the best. Love Delicate Sound of Thunder.

  • @hricardo1977

I gave you the 'thumbs up' even though I prefer The Division Bell :-D

  • @hricardo1977 Really.. It's silly.. Pink Floyd whitout Roger Waters.. It'l like the Beatles without John Lennon..

  • @Znarus The wrong 2 Beatles died first

  • @bkny612 Too bad you did'nt die. You're such an A--HOLE!!!

  • @nightman4216 lol get over yourself. Must be a Ringo fan

  • @bkny612 No actually I am a Paul fan but would'nt have wanted any of them to die. I just thought that your comment was crude, hateful and unnecessary so I thought that maybe you should see a similiar comment about yourself to see how it looks. It also seemed out of place especially since it was in the comment section for a Kate Bush / David Gilmour you tube video.

  • @nightman4216 I never said I wanted anyone to die. I have loved the Beatles for years and as a fan I feel that in terms of musical and lyrical creativity, John and George brought more to the table than Ringo or Paul therefore I simply stated that the wrong 2 died first.

By the way, I could care less if everyone on YouTube posted their wishes that I died. I don't get all bent out of shape because of mere words.

  • @bkny612 Paul is one of the best and most prolific song writers ever and you think that George was better. Try comparing their accomplishments and careers sometime. Between Paul and John they wrote a vast majority of the Beatles music. Your comment was disturbing and out of place. It was posted in the comment section for a Kate Bush / David Gilmour video. You seem to be one of these people that thinks that their opinion is so important that everybody needs to hear it. I'm just the opposite.

  • @bkny612 I'm just the opposite however. If I had your email address then I would have responded to you directly instead in the comment section of a you tube video. People like you usually post their comments in the most inappropriate place. They will take an article on Yahoo news about something like sports salaries (just an example) and in the comment section rant and rave about how much they hate President Obama. Any way I'm done with it.

  • @bkny612 So stupid. No one should die. The Beatles were a whole. And besides, and it is just an opinion, the Beatles's success is largely due to Paul.

  • @hricardo1977 I've always thought the same with Roger and Dave singing. Love Pink Floyd. But much prefer Gilmour's voice....

As for this video... so very odd seeing him play what looks to be a Les Paul. Don't see that much at all. Always strats or telecasters with him.

  • @danimal97520 He plays on gretsch duo jet

  • @laannurica Nice looking guitar, but very much odd for David Gilmour. Always has one of his many strats.

  • this is not good for me, i don't think anybody can sing Roger's part as good as Roger.

  • Look for the version with David Bowie, that will be good for you.

  • it's better then tihs but that part should be nearly all spoken not sung..

    Roger Rules.... LOL :)

  • I'd love Kate to actually record this and release it. My favourite Pink Floyd song by my favourite singer. Magical.

  • Nice duet but the recording sucks.....

  • tell me why why !!! I was not at Hammersmith Odeon in 2002 ,,,,,I LOVE YOU KATE!

  • LOVE YA DAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Also if you guys didn't know, David Gilmour launched Kate's career.

  • And Sam Brown!

  • class

  • Dave Gilmour is the BEST !!!

  • this is great combo, they have nice voice synergy going on.

  • i LOVE UUUUU GILMOREEEEEEEEE

  • What a combination, 2 proper musicians in their own right jamming together. Love it!!!

  • did you notice how Kate steps back when Dave is about to start his second solo? like she feels she should be in the crowd rather than on stage with him! Anyway, it feels great to see them together and to see Kate live once in a while, how I wish she would go on tour again!

  • I guess everyone should be in the crowd when David Gilmour plays and/or sings.

  • No one will ever come close to Kate's weird awesomeness :) I don't think anybody in the music business rises to the level of her art.

  • anyone know where this is from?

  • Two great artists what a treat even if the sound quality is not the best.

  • kate not at her best, but she not used to doing backing!!!! even if to the mighty pink floyd.. david gilmour did a better backing on kates " running up that hill"

  • Absolutely brilliant!

  • this is at the royal festivel hall dumb arse i was there sellin popcorn and crack to grannies

  • Kate Bush asked Dave Gilmore not to include this on his DVD because she thought she was crap I think she's amazing in this personally

  • Indeed, Kate did a much better job than the Robert Wyatt or Bob Geldof who did end up on the DVD (not to mention that she's way better than Roger Waters' awful bleating)

  • does anybody know when and where this was

  • 2002 Hammersmith Odeon IIRC.

  • Great version, shame about vid quality. Some weird kinda timewarping going on with the dbbing -and Dave starts his solo before even strapping on the leccy: god that's one talented guitarist!!!

  • AMAZING!
