As soon as a market for the skins of Komodos the within a decade, or less, it will be no more. Hunted to the last one by the locals. They need to be taken from that area now and relocated away from filthy humans, the real monsters.
@tenhirankei Or Batman could call in Chuck Norris and the Komodo Dragons would start killing themselves to avoid the slow painful death of Chuck Norris.
@roflollnubb not quiet, they arent harmful to humans, but if you bleed they pretty agrresive even to animal that bit larger than them, there's few human casualities caused by the komodo, I can give full report from komodo island from indonesia, I live from small city which has the only transport access to komodo island
I am all for perserving a endangered species but Komod dragons are dangerous, to humans and everything else, if they attack a human that human i think is allowed to blast it, going out and hunting them i think is too excesive but if they come after you kill them becasdue one bite will kill you becasue of its venom.
its refered to as a venomous reptile, Its becasue its saliva (can also be called venom, maybe not here but can be called that) contains deadly antibodies/bacteria which slowly kills its prey. I call it venom becasue that is what my perception of venom is, but you may be correct it might not be called venom.
yes their venom contains a number of bacteria and toxins, they norally bite you then stalk you until you die from bacteria infection, they are predators...my father went to austrailai and those islands on a vacation, he and his friends were attacked by the komodos but they were armed and literally blew its head off, my dad was shaken so he returned, the others hunted down several others and kileld them for trophies.

Komodo arent agressive unless u try get close to their nest,
u can try touch, its scary and thrilling but they arent agressive at all like other reptiles
just dont touch them too hard or try to touch the mouth
