i believe it's a mass money scheme just like all religions. they probably use it to help a few people just to make it seem like the money is going towards good but most of it is going into the pockets of the people that run the place. do some research. i'm not saying all churches are bad but some, if not most of them are greed driven. i was reading about how they use certain 'beat speeds' for music and the power of suggestion is very real and i hear about someone blacking out on stage.

Wow Shaun, I have never heard this statement before. I realize that you are speaking from a human perspective and do not understand the ways of God (I mean, God raping Mary - come on - you do not really believe that do you?). I would like to first of all comment on this whole rape idea.  Rape (and sex for that matter) is a physical act. Mary became pregnant by a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit, not by our humanly manner of sexual relations. Mary was obedient to listen to the Lord but Jesus was not concieved in the manner that we as humans know. I am not sure what your beliefs about who God is or whether you even believe in God. I would be interested to hear where you are coming from.

As I said before, Jesus was conceived by the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit, not by a human physical union of intercourse, so no, He is not a bastard child. Again, you are looking at this through the eyes of an unbeliever. Only God the Holy Spirit can help you to understand this, not me. All I can do is point you to Him and the truth in the bible. A question for you, what led you to watch this video? I am curious.

I do acknowledge that there was a person named Mohammed who started the Muslim religion. However, Mohammad did not do the things that Jesus did eg walk on water, heal people, raise people from the dead... Mohammad stayed buried and dead. Jesus is risen. As far as the Jewish faith, Jesus himself was a Jew and the first christians were mostly Jews. The whole Old testament is an account of God's chosen people, the Jews. Their are Jews still because most have not recognized their Messiah, Yeshuah.

I would like to qualify the above statement to point out that there are many Messianic Jews (or completed Jews) who have excepted their Messiah, Jesus Christ. Once a Jewish person becomes a Christ follower, they do not stop being a Jew. So when I say their are still Jews, I should say, some are still following the Old testemant covenant; some have given up their faith altogether and are what you would call "secular" Jews; and some, as mentioned, are Messianic Jews.

First of all, Jesus did come and was very visible to those around Him 2000 years ago. You have to look at the bible not only as a religious text but also as a historical account. He proved to eyewitnesses that He is the Son of God by not only forgiving sins (which only God can do) but by backing it up with supernatural miracles. Second, I recognize the depths of my depravity and the need for a Saviour. I pray God will call you to repentance because you will one day face your creator.

Whether he was the son of God or just a hoax, I value the words of Jesus Christ.

So did my grandparents. They weren't "wrong".
