  • Everyone! There is now an online shop where you can buy this cleanser! It's through the Anne McDevitt website (sp?).

  • I think maybe the cleansing agents themselves are what you liked. Glycolic acid is neutralized by warm water. This is why Physicians and Estheticians in the know don't bother recommending Glycolic cleansers. Marketing scam.

  • Great video, GET THE ACTIVE INGREDIENT - GLYCOLIC ACID - ON EBAY FOR ABOUT A TENNER. I SAW THIS + MADE MY OWN CLEANSER FOR PENNIES BY USING A BASIC CLEANSER AND MIXING SOME OF THE GA INTO IT. I USE IT EVERY DAY. I AM 55 + MY SKIN LOOKS FAB - FIRST TIME IN YEARS. PORES, LINES, SCARS ALL DISAPPEARING. IT'S NOT A MIRACLE CREAM, I LOOK MY AGE, JUST WITH LOVELY CLEAR SKIN. I FEEL SO CONFIDENT! PLEASE ERR ON SIDE OF CAUTION IF YOU DO THIS - USE TINY AMOUNTS OF THE GA., LOOK BETTER, NOT BURNT!

  • Hi I bought this product in The Beauty Rooms in Cavan. They also do the in salon peeling. The products are excellent for all skins ageing acne etc

  • Also, I can't for the life of me find anywhere to buy it, where did you buy it?

  • @ChibiLanna You have to get it through a doctor

  • I really really want this, but I dunno if I can afford it. :\ I have bad problems with spot marks, and I've tried so many things, but they don't work.

  • god she talks too much

  • will ya come for a pint?

  • @kristalblair thank you!

  • @kristalblair Thank you SO much, I will look for this Peter Thomas Roth. If I cannot find it does Reviva make a pad type product? Or is it a cram as in moisturizer?

  • @kristalblair yes I know Reviva it is available whole foods stores, but which reviva product? I have Aqua Glycolic cleanser it feels very gentle no sting at all, like a cetaphil feels. The first time or two at the most that I used it I felt my skin felt very soft, but I feel it is too gentle because by the 3rd time, I never felt that softness again & it is not like by the 3rd time I should have built an intolerance to it, it is as if for the gentleness of it, it did all it was capable of.

  • Good video! It also works really great for acne, stretch marks and wrinkles. I use acid glycolic in a low percentage and it's great for my skin!! Only buy professional products and read the instructions! It's not dangerous but be careful! Any information where to buy it, ask me if you need

  • @marhli hi i am interested in buying. Thank you.

  • spots in between your eyes might have had somrthing to do with stress

  • Before & after pics please.

  • does it work on freckles?

  • would it work for blackheads because ive used everythin to try and get rid of them and nothin as yet has worked

  • You are so pretty! Your skin looks flawless! Thank you for this review...it is probably just in Ireland...not sure if it a brand in the States.

  • does it irritate your skin? i have sensitive skin but i want to get rid of my acne scars and this sounds like a good product

  • ive had this problem recently, and hated being without my makeup because of it. id tried bio oil but it did not help that much. imgoing to research this product to see where i can get it. thank you

  • Well, I think I'm kind of late leaving a post here, but I simply LOVED the video. My skin has the same "smal problems" that you told your's had. I'm tired of exfoliating and having no good results. I'm Brazilian, and in my city, Curitiba, we dont have the ocean nearby, and it's the coldest capital of Brazil, so I have no problem with the Sun, or with the salty air, meaning: I can use this kind of product and not worry about using tons of sunblocker. Thank you very much! @fabbranco

  • Hey Looked For This Product An Cant Find It Anywhere Im 18 An I Live In England An Have Have Like Scar Type Marks On My Face From Spots An Really Want To Get Rid Of Them Sooo I Dnt No What To Do Now ???

  • I would also like to know exactly how much glycolic acid is in the cleanser? It should say on the back of the bottle the %. Thanks!!

  • your skin looks beautiful, do you have any before after pics?, ive also ordered my glycolic acid 30% + 50% should be here soon because i have a fair bit of pigmentation marks on my forehead, i used to have them on my chin and between eyes but now hopefully gone, anyway all the best :)

  • I suffer from breakouts on my chin too, and have noticed a different texture there, so I emailed Slender about this product but unfortunately they dont seem to stock it anymore, the alternatives recommended by them are Dermalogica or Thalgo products which they do stock. Ive never used either so just wondering if you have tried them?

  • Hey...sorry to jump in on your question hun. Just wanted to let you know that I have been using Dermalogica products for almost a year now and have seen a great improvement in my skin so if you're not sure about the line I really do recommend it :) x

  • @libertyparker thanks I rang up my local hair and beauty salon and I'm booked in on Sat for face mapping and a dermalogica facial, they have an offer of 3 for the price of 2 on the derma products so I'll see how I get on :)

  • @allybabe84 Ah great, I hope you like it and it works for you too. 3 for 2 is great! Happy days! :)

  • @libertyparker so got my face mapping done the whole thing, and got my dermalogica products (6 in all, so 2 were free) , going back for another facial in 4 weeks, will look a million dollars soon I hope!!

  • @allybabe84 Oh awesome hun, I hope you like them. I'm sure you will see results! What did you get? I use the dermal clay cleanser, daily microfoliant and over night clearing gel and I love them all...I haven't tried much else yet apart from some small samples. I hope you love them!!

  • @libertyparker I've got the sebum clearing masque, gentle cream exfoliant and the overnight clearing gel, plus the cleanse/tone/moisturise routine, so far so good!!

  • hi im from ireland too ur brill! where u get this in ireland i have exact same problems as u im from cork!?

  • You can get it on ebay there are some sellers that ship worldwide I got mine for like... 15 dollars (including shipping) but always do a little research on the reliability of the seller so you get quality stuff ;)

  • have you heard about glytone? i use the glytone step 3 with 20%glycolic acid. its really intense but worth it.

  • I'd like to know the exact percentage of Glycolic Acid in this product please? You don't seem to mention it.

  • I'm afraid it doesn't say on the packaging the percentage as it is sold through professionals only who do the sales and safety spiel. Sorry

  • im just wondering did anybody find this product online ... if so where ?cant find it anywhere ... lol

  • im training in beauty and i hope you did let the therapist know how well you got on with her recommendation, thats what the job is all about

  • heya, huge IRISH fan here *yay*

is it good for blocked pores, blackheads, etc.? because iv tried everything and nothings working xox

  • Hiya :-)

I am in England and I decided to get the product after watching your video. I called Slender...they are very nice and helpful. I just received my cleanser today...very excited and can't wait to use it. Thanks for sharing your "profound" experience.

NB: others who are interested in purchasing this product but can't obtain it locally can call Slender Beauty Salon on 8138799 (don't forget to add appropriate code depending on where you are calling from).

  • hi..how much did you pay for that product?

  • hello I paid 51euros for the product, theh about 5euros for the postage fees. I hqve been using mine for a week now and it is really great.

  • omg i need this. I will research online.

P.S. I just found out about your videos, they are so good! And my bf is irish too :)

  • You are beautiful girl!

  • ... gets 2 thumbs down for giving you a compliment! Why???

  • Uhm ... what do you think? It's people who disagree with his opinion. If his opinion was that she was fuck ugly and that got two thumbs down then you wouldn't say anything, but just because his opinion is positive no one is allowed disagree?

  • mmm, you gotta point there, that makes sense, i can be such an ejit sometimes. thanks for the clarification.

  • samusg: It was a girl who said it. Chill the fuck out.

  • What does that matter? My point still stands. And what do you mean "Chill the fuck out" I didn't say anything agressive. You chill the fuck out and stop nitpicking.

  • I can't find it in my country..it's not here.

    Online?....also not. ;-[[

    Still thanks Amy. xoxoxox

  • the camera keeps shaking, what is it stood on??? not that it matters, just wondering...xx

  • wish i cud get that here in galway.... wud luv to try it....

  • For those in the U.S., MD Forte products work really well. I've only used the glycolic face wash, but I'm thinking of using their skin care system solely for my skin care regime.

  • where can you get these products in the US?

  • anyone use vichy normaderm?

i have some acne & oily t-zone but also a bit sensitive

    clearasil dries my skin out

    thanks x

  • you can turn any cream into a skin recovery night cream by buying 15%-30%glycolic acid and mix with it with any night cream..you can buy it off eBay (just do your homework so you dont turn into a piece of chalk lol)..isn't just wonderful to find something that works!!!!.. dior totale creams are to die for!... on mature skin makes everything soft and healthy looking. your such a doll to watch!!! hugs shelly..

  • have you tried mixing the stuff yourself? If so what did you use? I have more mature skin..getting some fine lines and looking for something really good..no acne scars..just fine lines and looks like my skin is not as elastic...: ( any ideas?

  • mixing what?

  • sorry..I meant the comment by magicadespell56

  • that would be a bad idea...

  • after researching I have come up with one idea..it is not uncommon when a product is sold in another country although made here in the states..it is probably called something else.

  • hi, did i see you today in Kildare Village with your mum today? wsnt sure it was you but if it was you looked really pretty. J xx

  • i have been searching high and low...and have come up with nothing..guess someone would need to see a dermatologist. I have a docs appt Monday..I am going to ask him to prescribe it to me. But I am still looking.

  • Wow, i really want to try this product!

I have scars from spots in the place between my eyes and my chin which i am really insecure about!

Might go on a search for this!

    xx

  • I'm happy this product worked for you! from time to time, I tried products with high concentration of glicolic acid, but, I only got more spots :( somehow my skin doesn't work with this thing, but works very well with retinoic acid! very good video! you look gorgeous!

  • I have only discovered your videos recently and I have to say they are all great! You give loads of info on products and are a pleasure to watch. Keep up the good work! xx

  • I want to try this so bad but I don't think people outside the UK will be able to find it D: I've been looking online. Maybe you could check what % of glycolic acid is in that cleanser so we can find something similar.

  • Hi Amy,

  • argh, i have the same problem areas!

  • Where can I find this product online? :O

  • Great video!! Thanks so much for the review :)

  • OH MY GOSH. I'm 16. And I ALWAYS break out inbetween my brows. I have a breakout right there right now. Its so annoying :(

  • I have the same problem too Amy. On and around my chin I have dark purple/blue-ish spots that I have have to conceal very heavily. I'll definitly look into a glycolic cleanser. Thanks for the review!

  • Thanks for a great vid!!!:)

  • Oh and I didn't ask you ...do you think it helps with the scars on the face.I just got one on the side of my mouth that looks like a tiny wrinkle but it's a scar. I would love to get rid of it...I just can't imagine that anything can help with it

  • What procentage of glycolic acid is in the cleanser?

  • hi amy.

great review, but i have a question, how long last this bottle?

  • I use a pea size amount and the bottle is huge so I would expect to have this for a year :)

  • Great video. I'd like to try the Avon glycolic peel pads that everyone has been talking about... I just have to keep forgetting to buy them! :)

  • Gorgeous Skin! Thanks for the review.

    Hugs~ Lana

  • This sounds amazing! I love that it's worked well for you and your skin does look flawless xox

  • Amy, I loved this video! Admittedly I do not suffer from the same skin problems (I suffer from an oily t-zone and large pores) but I am so happy that you have found this product. I think having good skin gives people confidence and I tell in this video you are H.A.P.P.Y xx

  • Hello Amy. I hope you are well. You sound as if the weather has changed to cold mode in Eire. I fly to your beautiful island on Monday. Looks like I better bring my polar neck pullovers ;-)

    Great video, btw.

    All the best from Bea

  • Glycolic acid is effective stuff. But don't blame your pores. The area around your mouth is a hormonal zone, so during the teen years the spots typically get bad, but they also occur regularly during the menstrual cycle. The marks left behind are called hyperpigmentation; the more melanin in your skin, the more apparent hyperpigmentation you experience from spots. Women of color are familiar with what you're describing, but Europeans get it too :)

  • great vid. definately want to give that product a try. what moisturiser do you use?

  • olay multi-radiance :)

  • I purchased a glycolic cleanser from my dermatologist because he said it would help with my stretch marks. I haven't really seen a dramatic improvement, but then again I wasn't really expecting one...I don't think that a cleanser is going to be able to get rid of stretch marks, but oh well. I have thought about it using it as a facial cleanser instead, but I'm a little bit scared because I have pretty sensitive skin.

  • hey amy, ah i have the same prob were in ireland did you get the product cuz i live here too:)

  • I bought it in slender health beauty salon raheny

  • i have the same problem areas, on the sides of the mouth. will be trying those. any idea where i can buy them online?

  • I would love to know that too!!

  • OmG that's funnny I have exactly the same problem, on the chin AND in between the brows ! I still have the scars on my chin, gonna try that product ! thanks xx
