There is a briefing before this interview. I don't think the interviewer will just plainly assume that he has a beautiful girlfriend. She might have some basis when she said that. I would say that Anne Curry just gave Rob the best interview experience he's ever had. She was very maternal and genuine - no wise cracks and digging for dirt or asking him about screaming fans. The 'girlfriend' thing was very authentic in her summation.
