I agree, this makes me feel physically sick. Faulks feels free to be open because he's in the House of Lords and can't lose an election, but this seems to be a widespread attitude problem amongst MP's. As a member of the public, barely employed no less, I DON'T resent that lady's salary, it's the market rate for a difficult job, with the constant risk of a sacking hanging over her-like everybody else.
