i think for the Germans you can deploy an air field and use them to defend your base till you can get any other units

How do you get cash from those supplies? Just downloaded the beta and I have no idea how to...

you build a supply truck from your headquarters and send it to one of the supply depots (the collection of yellow squares). once that finishes building, 3 trucks will come out of it every so often and they head to your closest headquarters (which is why secondary headquarters are useful). they automatically give you money once they reach the headquarters.
