i think in Asia, the Thai make the best horror films. they've got good scary moments and good storylines. I think, contrary to what ppl think, Korean and Jap horror are crappy. Jap ones always have dissappointing stupid endings and the Korean ones are never ever creepy. Plus i always have a hard time telling korean girls apart. they all look the same! same plain faces. can't tell who is who.
@TheArabiandesert i just recently finished watching the movie and it was so confusing from the beginning until the last moment when everything is revealed (which was like the last 5 minutes of the movie) the monsters and stuff weren't scary at all because you could tell right away that everything was fake...sad to say, it wasn't that good of a movie...

I wouldnt say The Tale of Two Sisters were awful. I guess you were looking for something with more gore and blood and the movie didnt provide it. Storywise, I thought this movie was good. Good enough that Hollywood remade it. The Hollywood version is titled THE UNINVITED.
Here in my country asian movies never come to the cinemas, otherwise I would go to the cinema to support the industry of asian movies, but ybfortunelly the oly way to watch them is by downloading fron internet.

yah i agree wif u. why is it that the ghost is always some stupid girl with long black hair wearing a white dress. that's just our typical idea of how a ghost outta look like. instilled in us since we were young.

The atmosphere, colours, lighting, direction, acting, and soundtrack, and the storyline -- all are excellent. I highly recommend watching this film, it's very high quality.
this movie is horrible i downloaded it and watched it all the scenes u see right now is in the beginning of the movie and im a huge fan of ghost movie's but its not worth watching the story is bad they just do alot of camera tricks but u will get bored in less then half and hour and they talk to much

im realy sorry to say this but this movie is realy cheap... I mean look at those "monsters" its all dolls :D the only scary thing is the camera works. sorry for saying how i see it ;)
I don't see anything cheap about this film. Unlike other horror films, especially American ones, this film actually has a good plot. And the camerawork and everything else is excellent.

I wouldnt say The Tale of Two Sisters were awful. I guess you were looking for something with more gore and blood and the movie didnt provide it. Storywise, I thought this movie was good. Good enough that Hollywood remade it. The Hollywood version is titled THE UNINVITED.
