  • Oh it sounds perfect...

  • i am only hearing static too

  • i cant hear anything except static!!!!!

  • the top strings seem to be tuned wrong, its a lil high i think

  • Hey i have the same pedal. Could you tell me or PM me the settings you had on this video? I know it's old, just wondering.

  • i think all your hearing is the song while watching the guitar play it. :0

  • You need vibrato!

  • It's outta sync, but still a great cover.

  • nice guitar & nice cover & nice sound :)))

  • nice job bro., great EVH tone.

Ignore "CAW2009CharlotteNC's"comment , people who can't play all that well really shouldn't be criticizing those who can.

  • too bad its a bit out of snyc, nice job tho.

  • V well done Bro!!!

  • hi i know that all amps sound pretty much the same with the RP250. but say i have a Gibson Les Paul compared to the cheapest Epiphone. Will they still sound the same?

  • one of my all time favorite riffs. that intro is just epic.

  • please send me guitar pro tabs of this song

  • He is using a floating tremolo thats why it sounds out of tune. Eddie is a player He would love it. Nice set up man that sounds great.

  • I have a floating tremolo, and when i play out of tune. He's just flat from half step down.

  • what are your settings on the rp250? and what preset do you change when you set it?

  • what tuning is it in? i love this song and i've got most of it down, but i don't know the tuning.

  • Hey bro, i think it is normal tuning but everything is flat so it (lol sorry i dont know all the proper terminology, but this is how i play it and it sounds spot on) F(flat) A(flat) D(flat) etc...

  • all right, thanx

  • It's in half step down tuning, or e flat. Same thing.

  • Can't you listen? The start has some wrong notes

  • you rock!

  • wow thats pretty damn good even with a cheap guitar

  • i got the same guitar U$S 220

  • I am big fan of analog and tubes but for recording I am considering this pedal cause It sounds good plus lugging around a huge stack is a pain in the butt at times

  • its an amazing pedal bout £100

  • Great job, dude. I will buy Rp 500 and not Boss Gt 10. Congretulations!!!

  • i can not believe that guitar sounds like that its perfect

  • nice job dude, what setting did u use on your digitech 250 because i got that same one and was wandering how to play in that tone

  • r u playin the satriani signiture guitar?

  • no thats cheap ibanez gio...

  • maybe but damn good....

  • too much gain..

  • a string was too sharp

  • good but ur out of tune

  • a little too much gain imo but overall nj

  • Hey! You got a new guitar.

  • nice cover and 99.9% perfect tone

ur a little out of tune tho...

    but overall it was good

  • Perfect tone

  • Thats good playin XD! Rock On!

  • nice cover

  • learn the correct grammer , you are good not is ..nice job man what kind of guitar is that

  • whoever is singing that sounds like crap compared to dave. Roth rules!!!

  • Great stuff. I watched your settings video and recreated the patch on my RP250. I posted it on the Digitech user forums. Hope you don't mind. If my settings are off let me know. Keep up the great work.

  • Dude your "A" string is way out of tune (and maybe some others). Other than that great.

  • what rp250 settings did you use?

  • hey is that guitar ur playing that 200 ibanez? how do u think that compares to your 300 dollar black rg?

  • hey man can you please send me his pach please?

  • it sort of sounds like your intonation is a little off.

    you play well though

    keep it up

  • yea it sounds like somethings off but u do play well

  • Cool :)

  • great cover, although I would have liked it with a little bit of chorus flanger in it.

  • dude there was a flanger

  • Great job. How long had you been playing when you took this video?

  • What fx and amp model are you using in the RP250 to get that tone?

    Awesome playing man.

  • wow dude nice tone.

  • Nice cover Van Halen Forever

  • whats the gain?

  • great cover dude!

  • Again, Just literally awesome playing!

  • Excellent - you're very talented! Thank you for sharing with us all on YouTube

  • PERFECT!

  • nice dude i have the same pedal. i've been getting some great sounds out of it. good to see that other people are using it

  • ive got the RPx400 its a little older but you can get sweet sounds out of all digitech multi effects pedals

  • read the description Thats a digitech rp250

  • push both blue pedals at the same time and hold them down until the tuner shows in the screen, good luck

  • man i have the exact same pedal. What settings are u using to get the sound.

    PLEASE RESPOND!!

  • sweet, dosent matter if the mode wasnt perfectly exact, its the playing that counts

  • Why dont ya all have some respect, atleast he's posted and he's enjoying him self:) thats all that counts=]

  • Srry but it is still the wrong sound for this song

  • an ibanez without sharkfins!!!!

  • nice

  • its a replica sound

sould i get one of these or a pocket pod

  • i dont know why they make those pods bean shaped? why dont they build them a little more studier and less gay looking.. the korg pandora is very similiar but looks like a korg tuner.. i prefer the portable look of the pandora then some bulbous ballsack thing....

  • davvero davvero bravo, i miei complimenti!

  • What are your exact settings (I have an rp250 too). Nice playing btw.

  • your A strings out of tune or just bad vibrato

  • mad skills man

  • i think he just do as he play

  • Is this recorded directly from your RPG250?

  • sounds good!

  • nice job man, that was very good

  • NO BAD AT ALL. YOU GOT SOME SKILLS BRO..

  • do you play it palm mute?? when i try it it always sounds crappy because the tones mix together, and is there an echo/delay effect??

  • Sounds like you need to work on your palm muting.

Work on tightenting it up a bit, you get all the overtones when you palm mute sloppily.

  • You rock. It's great

  • Dude, you rock! My attempt to play this song was almost a total failure!

  • ur knew one is much better but good job on this one

  • hey dasqueema! backing track was from guitarbt.

  • hey darkcarnival! i made my own preset:)

  • thanks punskater!!! ultimateguitar.

  • thanks funnydude! thought the jeans gave it that 80's touch:)

  • thanks solidsnake!!! ibanez gsa60 gio. one of the cheaper ibanez guitars.

  • The tone is good, but you gotsta get that artificial harmonic.

  • thanks jojoclown!!! i actually reposted it again:) i think it sounds better now:)

  • great playing

  • Well hell the singer would probably sound better if he had several thousands of dollars in studo correction time just like DLR did.

  • i fucking love the intro. the only thing i do different is i had some harmonics in there to give it that zakk type of feel.

  • thanks emberxtoxinferno!!! i actually reposted it again. see what you think:)

  • already watched it and gave it 5 stars.

  • The way you play the song is good but you should learn to control your sound effects :-)

  • thanks videotaker! point taken. yeah the flange was a bit much.

  • the singer sounds like sammy hagar... thats just wrong. great playing though

  • i agree spoo!!! VH was better with DLR!

  • Very Nice Job man -Would you happen to have to tabs to it that would be so awsome if you would send them to me. I have a digitech RP250 too (just got it!) and I copied that settings that you showed on another video. It sounds great!

  • thanks telecom!!! i got the tabs from ultimateguitar.

  • TY! Keep Rockin' it out!

  • kick ass tone a little crunchier than evh but i love the way it sounds.

    sounds awesmome man... keep playing.

  • you are playing it wrong, 8th note is g#, not the f#, and use force flegeolet on first b not. however, sounds pretty good

  • Great job!

    nice cover~

    5*

  • let the intro notes ring out. Sounds a bit rigid. Part from that excellent job!! Sounded just like the real thing!!

  • nice playing sounds pretty sweet

  • listen to that A string

    you own that song anyways

  • i use the same backing track when i play it and it kinda sounds gay cuz the singer sucks. but you played it damn well.

  • it sounds like the genuine song to me

  • hey texas heatwave!!! i agree the singer needs some work but thanks man!!!

  • sounds GREAT love the tone

  • nice distortion and you fuckin nailed that 1 man

  • omg wonderful!

  • I'm not sure if your A string is in tune but fantastic cover!

  • Can the Rp-80 do this? This thing sounds awesome, but I want to get something cheaper.

  • my fathers got RP80, and I own RP250, and i can really tell that RP250 is a 1000 times better than Rp80. For Ex RP80 doesnt have USB like 250.

  • mmm that pedal makes it sound delicious

  • ...and whats that thing you do in 1:14?

  • Its called a Pick Slide.

  • For this song, are you using the tremolo built in on the RP250? Please tell me, I need to decide whether to get this pedal or not...

  • Get it. You wont be disappointed.

  • Does this song work on a les paul gibson?

  • ...............is this a trick question?

Any guitar can play anything, as long as you have the settings right.

  • you're close...the notes don't sound quite right though, i'd check up on the main riff.

    Sick guitar man

  • Yep, just checked, guitarbt is free, it just makes it look like you have to donate. You just go to BT downloads and select the song, and then find where it says mirror for download. :)

  • thanks beal782007! ripped jeans will always be cool! lol!!!

  • nice playing, nice guitar, nice pants

  • hmmm, the only thing wrong is the bend. van halen does a pick harmonic, not a bend.

other then that it sounds good

  • thanks ghostspider! never knew that. i'll try that out! peace!

  • what amp are you using?

  • hey rock3r4lyfe! no amp was used. my digitech rp250 is plugged straight into the mic jack on my laptop.

  • What settings did you have the RP250 set for ? Great SOUND ! ! !

  • He spent all his money on his guitar and forgot to buy new jeans lol

  • Who the hell needs new jeans? Especially when they're charging $20 extra for jeans that look EXACTLY like that...

  • Dude don't be such a cocksucking douchebag. He made a good point. So shut your fat mouth assfuck!

  • hey lunchbox69. i got this track from guitar bt. it was free back then but not anymore:(

  • Guitarbt is still free.

  • thanks noobje! last i checked, bout 5 months ago,you had to donate. i'll have to check it out.

  • hey marshhastheibanez!!! the amp model was duel rectifier. the distortion was rodent with distortion set at 50. the tuning was standard with everything dropped 1/2 step.Eb

  • hey im kinda confused. did u model the dual rectifier with the digitech rp250 or with like a line6 amp or something. if its a line6 tell me cuz im going to be getting one soon

  • hey poopkid4. no amp was used for this recording. the tone i dialed in was done just with the rp250. the rp is on a direct line into the mic jack on my laptop.

  • thats cool thanks for the reply, didn't know you could do that without an amp.

  • yeah..u've got nice sound man :D:D

  • thanks kirkhammet1990!!! yeah i was pretty happy with this tone. peace!

  • thanks matymetal!!! hope you enjoy yours as much as i do mine!!! make sure you get the free software from the digitech website as it is VERY helpfull in making tones and saving them! yeh man these things are pretty cool! thanks again bro! rock on!!!

  • i only have an RP 50 -.-

  • is the rp250 easy to use for someone thats never had a pedal? i'm thinking about getting one but i have no experience with pedals

  • whatsup tpain2345! the rp is really a guitar processor rather than a pedal. which means it emulates amp models, cabinets,or effects pedals. if you're just starting out,i would recommend seeing a professional at your local guitar store. tell them what kind of sound you want and i'm sure they can help you out. good luck and keep rockin!!!

  • great cover!!

  • thanks thelendure2!!!

  • well thank you strongnproud!!!

  • hey i was thinking of buying this effect pedal but it doesnt seem like the set-up and understanding of it is as simple as they make it seem... if it is actually that easy then that would be pretty sick.. message me back. thanks... and sick playing man

  • hey stratofender! when i first got it, it was a little confusing. but just playing around with it(for hours) it's not that hard. the x-edit software(free from digitech website is a must). it makes creating and storing so much easier! if you have patience then it's really easy to use. thanks for the comment man!!!

  • Use pinch harmonics on the E string and it'll sound a whole lot better.

  • do you mean the A string? i know what you mean i've seen it in other vids. thanks for the comment!
