Hey buddy. Good work....you're making great progress. I think you'll like this..google scoobysworkshop and go to that website:) It's run by a 50 some odd year old bodybuilder who's giving back what hes learned with his 30 years experience...just a regular Joe like oyu and I who decided to help people out to eat smart and get healthy... put up a progress journal in his forums..I'm up on there too..very friendly place.....ok TAKE CARE AND NEVER LOOK BACK!
You burned 2600 calories in three hours??......not even if your metabolism was powered by a nuclear reactor, sorry dude. But Hey, you're doing a really really god job. Keep it up!
@observerreacts Indeed it is possible. Manufacturer notice is up to 720(and beyond) calories an hour for those within the average weight zone. Since his excess weight level would increase the amount of calories burned, it's easy enough that he could indeed burn that many calories in 3 hours. I.e. manufacturer general estimate for instance - for 180lbs man: 30min workout = 465-500 calories. So, clearly you don't need to have a nuclear reactor metabolism. Regardless, he's doing great!
I was on fwins.failbook.com and there was a video of how a boy reacted to the U.S. making a goal during the world cup. After the video was over, I saw this video on the screen after, then I clicked on it and saw this :D
3 hours on the elliptical? Sounds like overkill. I've lost over 30 pounds in the past 4 months doing Crossfit for 1hour a day, (4 days a week), (Crossfit is only really 15 minutes of working out hard) and eating Paleo. Check out the Four Hour Body by Tim Ferris to get some helpful tips. Crossfit.com for a gym near you, robbwolf.com for Paleo Diet.
Lol pretty insistent about the liking of the video, but I like seeing people do good things for themselves. Keep up the good work -- don't be slackin' now!
Excellent work. I lost a ton of weight, went from over 350 pounds to around 170 pounds in about a year. Ok you might be over working yourself dude. It sounds like you are doing wayyyy to much cardio if you are doing 2 or 3 hours. The key to weight loss is the food you eat. You want to train your metabolism to be very fast. Eat whole grain foods, stay away from processed foods, eat fruit, veggies, might I suggest yogurt, it helps with digestion. Eat small meals through the day. Good Luck dude! =)
you should find a way to make a compilation showing the progress from day to day when you reach some milestones. Like "10 inches lost, woo! watch Pete shrink in 30 seconds!"
I just looked at your first video. The weight loss is great, that goes without saying. But even more incredible is what that progress does for a persons attitude and self esteem. You seem pretty down and reluctant in that first vid. Even kind of bothered by the whole thing. Now you're entertaining, upbeat, kising peple's mommas AND daddies lol it's great to see. I just lost 50 in 12 weeks (with LOTS more to go) and I know it ain't easy but it really improves life in every way.
I found this video through the 'Trolling Saruman' video, came up as soon as it finished. Not sure how the video is related but your doing a good job loosing weight :D
@AzariahKyras clever little cunt aint ya, why dont you give the guy a break, he's trying to do something about his weight and improve his life, there's nothing negative about that!
Pete, I found your videos from something completely unrelated to exercise and fitness. I'm glad I found it though. You're a hero to me. I'm 17 weighing 244 pounds at 6'2" tall. My doctor has told me my ideal weight would be around 205 so I want to start doing something like you but its hard to do it when you're so out of shape. 5 miles/2-3 hours on that machine is amazing for someone of your size. Keep up the great work man! All of us that watch you are rooting for you!
He weighs himself twice a week, not daily, so the one yesterday was the one of that day, and the one of the day before was four days before that, that's why it was such a big difference.
GJ man, keep it up!
