thankyou so much for capturing this video,he is a part of my childhood,i see him performing everytime my parents take me to the temple and i used to give him the spare changes.he was younger in this video,he grew old and i didnt get to see him after that wch i later knew that he's nomore.god bless him.

Nice video, I have been to Mcleodganj, Dharamsala several times in my life. He is not a Rajasthani Gypsy. He is singing a PAHARI (Hill) song. Its a local dialect. But one thing is certain, very few of such performers remain today. The traditional music and musicians are disappearing.

The artist here is playing three instruments, if you count the little bell as well. His stinged instrument or the little drum are both loose, and not secured either by the other hand or otherwise, but look at him, he manages to play them good and in tune. Wonderful music maker.
