  • @matthewh2712 there is no flying kick at 0.25 sec. okeyh? you must be mistaken. i think the flying kick is in the other upper pattern. eg. Choong-Moo

  • Nice :D Taking my exams tomorrow :D

    I'm a blue-red

  • @DearIMY me too : D

  • @misskittycatherine do you mean Hwa-Rang the red belt pattern for TKD use one of the links for it on the right hope that help ^-^

Another good one TKD guy to watch for is Mr, Jaroslaw Suska hes a 5 Dan and he has a lot of power in his pattens, also wound t worry about it as you go to your TKD class to learn ^-^

  • i'm a red belt and i can't find wal wrag can you upload that pattern ? i haven't been to class in a while and i don't want to hold anyone back having to teach me

  • A couple of critiques (which are probably the instructor's fault),

    1) The x fist pressing block and high punch should be performed in a 1 and a half count in continuous motion, not two counts.

    2) The motion before the knee is not a strike and shouldn't be performed like it is.

A couple other small errors but I don't want to nitpick.

  • im on red belt.. going for my black tip this morning>.< wish me luccck:D

  • stop...spitting...all...over...the...matting... please...

  • Taekwon-do is lost in politics. ITF and WTF always getting their backs up against the wall. the great general himself died and unfortunately the art of foot and hand died with him. very sad

  • I am an ITF man my self but I do think it is a good thing to have slight diffrent style's of TKD it make life a bit more interesting, but you also can't say one martial art is better then another one.

  • don't be an idiot. Wtf is in the Olympics and is more of the competition based style. ITF is more about a traditional martial art based on self defense, self improvement and self control. I look at it like Wushu kung fu which is basically just the competition style of Kung fu. you wouldn't here a kung fu guy going around saying fuck wushu its so gay ect, so basically get a life bro and if your truly a martial artists, then i am surprised cause your very close minded

  • ITF is much better and is the original(this is ITF) WTF is gay you can only get a puum belt if ur under 14 so its gay very gay

  • what's a puum belt????

  • an official red black for minors (gay)

  • this guy has no power on his movements but maybe thats how they taught him

  • people can show you the patterns correctly why you still want to give comments??? are u better than him? piss off.. you think you better? you really bunch of sohai and noob

  • wow i as a person dont like to hate, but all i said is that he did not show any power. In my sentence i did not even say i was beter than him, i just said maybe he got taught different due to some schools lecturing in different styles.

  • im in ITF :P

  • I agree some of these patterns vary then what I was taught from white to black. Wasn't too big on patterns, excelled in sparring.

  • Hey guys, I think he did quite swell. All schools have a different way of teaching, good job bud.

  • my school is alot different then yours teaching wise and i can tell by your movments, you are very stiff and not very smooth, but thats how we are taught to be

  • I could pick out a dozen technical mistakes if this was GTF Taekwondo. I don't know how the ITF does Taekwondo, tho.

  • I agree and I'm ITF.

Name something you think is wrong?

  • Practically all of his movements are to small, various technical mistakes in some of the movements, you know. He doesn't finish his front kicks and all...

  • I have to agree D:

  • Wow...great form!!

  • Thank you very much this helped me!!:D

  • i think the technique at 0:38 is miro makgi ....

  • its not miro makgi mate. Miro makgi is a pressing block, thats a low section double forearm block. Naero dol palmok makgi. (plz excuse my poor spellings ahah) :D

  • I have to learn this for my Black Belt grading - very helpful for home revision - thankyou.

  • This is the pattern to move up to red belt

  • Yes, but my school uses a different system for learning the patterns. And I have a feeling my school's system might be WTF not ITF.

  • Shouldn't you already have a good understanding of toi gey for your blackbelt? considering as it is a blue-belt red stripe pattern?

  • Like I said, my school runs on a different system. If I was an adult, then yes. But since I was a lot younger then it was different for me. Now, however, I have good understanding of all the patterns.

  • im only yellow stripe atm but i watch the higher guys at my club train and from watching my fav patterns r toi-gae and joong-gun

  • yea, im on my 2nd black belt pattern now and toi gye and joong gun are still my favourate patterns
