I first learned about this as a kid from a thing called "The Reith Lectures" which are broadcast on BBC TV every christmas. We used to call it a moebius strip. I've never seen one with a zipper though... that is genius.

Unbelievably wonderful. Jeny, you have a gift for making the most mind-boggling things clear. I totally love the stuffed tubular Moebius and in my spare time (hah!) need to make one. You are the people's (and knitters') topologist.
