I wouldn't care about illegal immigration if there were legal work policies. How is it sane to have so many British people long term unemployed? What employer choses a local (unreliable, probably lazy) who demands minimum wage and rights or an illegal worker who can be paid sub-minimum wage and is desperate. Not having opportunities for locals mean that they will always take benefits. Minimum wage would be a stepping stone, but in many places it can't be got.
