Those flames are pretty impressive! I have an electric stove (different brand) and the flames aren't nearly as realistic. Still, I yelled at my cat the first time she went near it. Thought she'd get burned lol.
I bought two of these about 6 years ago. They are super realistic to the point that many people are not willing to put their hand in the area when you open the door because they are afraid they will get burned by the "flames". Neither have given me any trouble. They are SUPER quiet (you can't really hear the blower motor) and the things will heat a huge room quickly. A few of these will heat a smaller house. Best of all the heat is on the bottom so you can put things on top. Great product.
Perhaps that is because Dimplex is not an American company! His pronunciation was correct. Sorry it did not live up to your slang english standard... Perhaps if you were not so egocentric in your american perspective you would already know this.
