President Obama successfully whips Dem caucus to endorse Bush tax policy. LMAO. So after all the class-warfare rhetoric & hating rich people thing, the Dems sided with George W Bush afterall. Hope & Change.....had enough yet?
@mn8aol Go read some Marx, mn8aol. Ideas are built upon other ideas. If you discount Marx's ideas, including the prediction that capitalism would present itself primarily as an accumulation of commodities – with the defining feature of capitalist market economy being human labor – and that the human being itself would be transformed into a commodity to be bought, sold & used. . . then you're a hopeless tool of your own dreaded Hegelian Dialect with your master laughing all the way to the bank
@FriedDaisy--"WE CAN CHOOSE TO USE OUR GROWING KNOWLEDGE TO ENSLAVE PEOPLE IN WAYS NEVER DREAMED OF BEFORE, DEPERSONALIZING THEM, CONTROLLING THEM BY MEANS SO CAREFULY SELECTED THAT THEY WILL PERHAPS NEVER BE AWARE OF THEIR LOSS OF PERSONOOD." "WE KNOW HOW TO DISINTEGRATE A MAN'S PERSONALITY STRUCTURE, DISSOLVING HIS SELF-CONFIDENCE, DESTROYING THE CONCEPT HE HAS OF HIMSELF, AND MAKING HIM DEPENDENT ON A NOTHER....BRAINWASHING."--CARL ROGERS
Republicans want to further decimate the strength and security of working Americans so that we can engage in a global race to the bottom for low, Chinese-style wages. Whatever makes it cheaper and easier for the rich to get richer! No matter what America looks like when they are finished with their project.
This anti-tax, small government ideology is NOT about "liberty" or "patriotism." It's designed for big business and wealthy interests so that they can roll us for profit at OUR expense.
Someone needs to explain to the public what, beyond greed, is behind the Republican plan. No more cutsie mottos & semantics. Guys like Boehner need to be cornered, and using the example of a two wage, nuclear family making $50,000.00 per year with average bills and no retirement savings beyond Social Security he must show-- in plain language-- exactly how tax cuts for the rich and corporate friendly policies benefit them and people like them. Nonpartisan fact checkers should be standing by.
THANK GOD FOR SOMEONE WHO IS SPEAKING THE TRUTH! IT IS ABOUT TIME SOME DOES THIS. GOD BLESS SENATOR SANDERS!
