  • This voice suits the real Rasputin. sounds more evil

  • Wait

    Russia actually Approved this?

  • @SandwichAndCereal

it was actually pretty successful in Russia because they looked beyound subject matter and felt that movie itself is quite strong and well written.

  • Oh chill out guys. Really its freedom of speech. We dont have to get forks up our asses just because someone relates a show to another thing. Even if it is something people may or may not find obnoxious. Respect peoples opinions.

  • Nastal! XD

  • Jesus. I'm a Hetalia nut, but you guys don't need to relate everything to Hetalia. It's annoying. Go ruin something else. Russia, nor any other country for that matter, has to be put in comedic anime terms every three seconds.

The video is pretty goo, by the way, The Russian language is beautiful and dark all at once.

  • it sounds so much more fierce in russian...

  • This is one of the sexiest motherfucking things I've ever heard, ever.

  • Jesus the Russians make this sound so dark.....IM LOVING IT :D

  • I'm surprised the Russians were even okay with this film O.o

  • I'm loving Russian culture more and more! :) <3

  • I'm scared.... THE BEST!!!!!

  • rasputin scares me

  • Couldn't lyrics be in Russian letters? I can read Russian and it would be easier for me.

  • So....evil....

  • so awsome

  • wolałabym zwykłe ruskie bukwy od zapisu fonetycznego.

    Pozdrowienia z Polski

  • I listened to this while brushing my teeth, and I have never felt so villainous before... >:3

  • learning about russia in geogrphy still dont wtf hes sayin all i heard was rasputin

  • why do i keep hearing "a bucket of sheep"

  • @Dazwar4 because your welsh

  • @goombamario1 i would not have heard "bucket" if i was welsh :D

  • @Dazwar4 youre not the only one :3

  • I love listening to Rasputin in his native language... seems so much eviller than english...

  • @Ghostlyghostgamer

Much eviller. Hm, interesting. May be yes, but translation is almost literal.

    Hail from Russia!

  • This sounds so more evil

  • HETALIA REFERENCE!

  • I find it Hilarious that both top comments have something to do with Russia from Hetalia.

(Kolkolkolkolkol~ ^J^ Become one with Russia, da?)

  • Hail from Russia!

The Russian translation of the song is very good and impressive. It has almost no inconsistencies and writings.

    Beautiful animated movie.

  • this actually should be the real version, in general Anastasia should be in Russian, Rasputin you rock ! :D

  • I originally looked this up because I was curious how this would sound in the language the characters would really be speaking.

I think it sounds a lot more awesome this way.

  • This sounds even more evil than the Russian version. I'm a bit scared...and my best friend is Russian!

  • @DarkCrystalSage Go to hell, weeaboo.

  • @FMRagna I would, but then I would have to see your face every day

  • @DarkCrystalSage In fact, not everything has to do with Hetalia, and I'm pretty sure Russians would be pissed for relating everything Russian you see/hear with it's Hetalia counterpart.

  • @kitsyheartszombies Yeah, ummm.... I'm BIG on Hetalia, but it is rather annoying. Here's an idea... How about using your obsessions(I don't say that in a bad way) to encourage you to go and look into other countries? I think you'll find the world's a fascinating place. I clicked on this because I loved Anastasia as a little girl, and I've always found Russian to be really pretty. That and I think Anastasia songs are best in Russian, even if the movie's not at all historically accurate.

  • @SasorisPuppet Not historically accurate? Rasputin was known for spontaneously breaking out into songs and dancing with bugs.

  • @communistrecords Oh, shucks! Yeah, you're right. And he did have a talking bat. I forgot all of that.XD

  • @SasorisPuppet It's in all the history books! Next thing you'll tell me you didn't know that pocahontas had a magic talking oak tree.

  • @communistrecords ... She did? Nah! I heard that was wrong... It was really an Elm.

  • @SasorisPuppet Ya, if you like the revisionist version of history.

  • @kitsyheartszombies And a film about their dead royals and a green magician is a lot better XD

  • This sounds so right. I love the English version, since I speak English, but this is how it should be. Rasputin sounds much more sinister this way.

  • both top comments regarding hetalia X3 <3 <3

  • next time, u may want to consider English translation.

  • I can't help but wonder what Russians think of this film. Oh btw, it seems from the translation that the Russian version stayed true to the original English version. :)

  • @fanime1 Well, it's a cartoon and that's it; I think it's pretty understandable that real historic events and ones shown in 'Anastasia' are far from similar. Nevertheless I still like the concept and I know a lot of Russian people who have the same opinion on this piece of animation.

  • @WizyWizy Oh, okay. Thanks for answering my question. ^-^

  • K I know what he says at the end but it kinda sounds like he says 'Yay Kanye" Just saying.

  • You could of just had of just put the lyrics in Russian text because I can read Russian.

  • OK so I put "Rasputin sochtyotsa s toboj" into Google Translate and I got "Rasputin sochtyotsa with you". I can't seem to figure out what he's saying here but "Sochtyotsa" doesn't seem to be the correct spelling. Can someone who's fluent in Russian help me out here?

  • @GRasputin91 Not fluent sorry but I would suggest using a different translating program because the google is terrible beyond terrible.

  • @GRasputin91

Rasputin will get even with you.

Sochtyotsa is spelled сочтется in russian... Yes Google's a bit useless here.

  • I can see this song playing in the background when Russia is asking you to become one with him~Da

  • @Derpysmoshchick hetalia is crap

  • @somethinghippos Cool story bro, but I am pretty sure I didn't ask for your FUCKIN opinion

  • @Derpysmoshchick That shite show actually makes the history in this film seem accurate.

  • @xGuignolx Oh, sick burn.

  • I love this song in Russian. And all I can think of when Rasputin calling in his demons is Russia rising form the floor going "You called?" xD

  • @Inflameeslover

you must win against monghol yoke first, to say something like that XD

and then I'll have to desapoint you with newest haplogroup analyses on our ancestors lol.

  • Rasputin here is the best rasputin of all the versions, even though the chorus sucks c*ck compared to the polish version... Even the english version chorus is way better then russian. It seems to me that this is more like rasputins one man show.

  • I'm Spanish, and I've listened both to the original version and this one. Rasputin sounds the creepiest in Russian BY FAR

  • The Disney song in the characters' original language :D EPIC!! Also the song in Russian sounds so evil!!!

  • @CompletlyBunned Sorry, Warner Brothers!

  • @CompletlyBunned 20th Century Fox... Is Warner Brothers in fox?

  • @acephantom903 To tell you the truth I didn't remember who made it at the time. Sue me.

  • The russian and the german versions sounds so evil. Great job!

  • @Xenonthehedgehog8 Because you're a weeaboo with no understanding of the Russian culture? That's just my guess.

  • @JonVonD I guess that's an option

  • @Xenonthehedgehog8 Yep, I'd venture.

  • @JonVonD I' mjust new to some things, pardon me for being stupid

  • @JonVonD And don't even try saying I don't know about Russian culture >.> I part Russian as well

  • @nekohikarihikaru

  • @JonVonD -shakes my head- People like you are impossible and ignorant that's what >.>

Now let's end this conversation bacause it is a waste of my time

  • @Xenonthehedgehog8 xD OMG SAME HERE and idk why =w=

  • @nekohikarihikaru 'nekohikarihikaru'...judging by your username, I have some theories.

  • Comment removed

  • @JonVonD Cause I'm asian and I love Hetalia?

  • @nekohikarihikaru Maybe cause we all follow Mother Russia? *is just a Russia fangirl*

  • @Xenonthehedgehog8 Da! :3

  • @nekohikarihikaru I kept making Soviet Russia jokes with my boy friend :p Why? Cause I'm just weird

  • @Xenonthehedgehog8 Lol win

  • @nekohikarihikaru In Soviet Russia, you don't listen to music...music listens to you!

  • @Xenonthehedgehog8

this song doesn't suit Russia from Hetalia.

  • @Soriori True. A Russia I roleplay with onf FormSpring liked Anastasia

  • This isn't Disney, it's Warner Brothers.

Also, this is one of my favorite movies of all time!

  • @anettelacroix it's 20 th century fox, you fool.... XD

  • wow...

  • Hey everybody!! Let's get Disney's attention!! Disney you need to make a channel where they show their old movies and shows. Disney we want the magic we used to feel back.

Let's all tell Disney how much we miss the old Disney. Thumbs up this comment and repost to different disney videos and maybe we can let Disney know how we feel. I don't know if this will work, but if we all chip in maybe it will. As Disney says "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes."

  • @Cornell2110 Disney did not make this film.

  • i love this song in the dark of the night by rasputin

  • Seriously, watch the Portuguese (from Portugal, not from Brazil!) version of this song, you'll be surprised!

  • Love the chorus but Rasputin's voice sounds too young to me, not much deepness in his voice.

  • @TubeCrafter cause it's fastest version, than DVDRip. it's a bad quality of the sound.

  • In Russian, it sounds freakin' badass lolololol

  • @julihdisney I know I was giving you a hard time

  • This version is so much cooler and scarier then the English version.

  • The fact that the voice actor is actually a pop singer makes me lol so hard.

  • I gotta say I love the russian version of this ;w;

  • Can someone give me an English Translation plz, since it's not an exact copy of the English song? :?

  • I actually really like this version. It's much more creepy and gritty. Plus, it's nice to get to hear the actual melody. No offence Christopher Lloyd and Jim Cummings.

  • Ok....creepy sounding. Still love the song and the language though.

  • @Inflameeslover If you want to boast about people descending from the "kings of the north", go talk to someone from England. The vikings pillaged and raped everything, and the latter inevitably caused pregnancy.

  • @Inflameeslover

Don't say things like that. Every nation has had its good and bad times, and every nation deserves to keep its heiritage, good or bad.

  • @inflameeslover Uuummm... Kings of the north? For last 100years they have been us Finns, I think. Fuck Russia, whose's slaves we were for 100 years. And fuck Sweden, whose's slaves we were for 700 years!

  • @son0fBruin fuck you! you descended from prostitutes

  • @son0fBruin quite complaining! under Russia Finns had autonomy and lived quite well, thats the reason why we owned the Finland only 100 years.

  • this is the song there going to sing when Russia plans there attack on America.

  • oh that's a lot better than ENG & POL versions I know, and both are sooo good :) it's just meant for Russian!

  • I love the throat-y words. They're so fun to listen to.

  • 0:56 it's sili not sila ;)

  • Oh wow, this song is so much creeper in Russian! D;

  • I can't decide whether this song makes me want to sing along with an evil expression on my face, or whimper and go and hide under my bed.

  • o.O omg...I love this song in Russian :D

  • Rasputin is Spit?

  • Shit boy, they got out the scary russian chanting for this one

  • In Russo rende. :')

Sono felice di conoscere bene questa lingua. <3

  • he sounds so evil

  • Rasputin sounds so freaking awesome in russian. love the voice actor

  • I did not know Rasputin also sang the Russian Paratroopers music video!

  • WTF

  • :D AWESOME !!!

  • Totally, Rasputin.

  • Kolkolkol. ^J^

  • @KangarooSaysMeow >:D Ah, yes, we will all become one with Mother Russia one day, da?

  • @heylinspongesprite All except for Belarus. She's pretty freaky, da? >:D

  • @KangarooSaysMeow Oh, of course! oJO

  • @heylinspongesprite Ya hachoo tibya sivodnya, da! @J@

I love how there are hetalia references on here, ne~

  • Deffinatly the best version

  • Oh how I wish I could watch Anastasia in Russian with subtitles ;-;

  • In English this song sounded more like a evil promise, in Russian this sounds like Rasputin is about to dance atop Anastasia's grave. I must say the Russian version is much creepier than the English version.

  • @bluefireRyu thats because it actualy was ment to sound like that, in english it didnt sount too thretening but in its native language its ment as a threat, thats why it sounds rite in russian

  • @bluefireRyu Have you tried the Polish version? I must say that it isn't bad either, in terms "creepyness" ^^

  • The Russian lyrics are a TON scarier than the English lyrics. That's awesome.

  • @MerlinGirl20 I can't understand them that well..."revenged as Satan" makes no sense whatsoever. But it's still a badass song

    _______________

    P.S I do not understand English =\

  • The Russian version is infinitely more badass when you can understand it.... :) Take my word for it...

  • I love this Russian version!

I was born in Canada but my mother is Polish, and so, I understand all of it since both languages are very similar.

  • @kochamswinki I'm Russian and I can't say I understand Polish...maybe in only works the other way around :D

  • lol i love this song but i don't know if it's the singer but it just sounds hilarious in Russian

  • Nice Russian version of this song, it was easy to understand words since I learned this language when I was in school.
