Twilight is bloody awful. Ignoring the plot holes, the book is just filled with cliches. In the first book, the rising action takes so long to occur. If your not infatuated with Edward this is such a boring read.

@abdvilliers222 Well, there's several examples, can't think of many off the very top of my head, but one example is that vampires don't have any blood running through their veins. Meyer clearly states this in all 4 books. However, Bella and Edward have sex in BD. Vampires don't have a pulse, therefore cannot get an erection, therefore cannot really have sex or produce a child. 1st thing I can think of, but I'm sure there's more :)

He is a famous and incredible writer who wrote The Green Mile, The Dark Tower Series and Carrie and is (in my mind) the literature version of Steven Spielberg. Second, its Hermione. Twilight is bloody awful. Ignoring the plot holes, the book is just filled with cliches. In the first book, the rising action takes so long to occur. If your not infatuated with Edward this is such a boring read.

@abdvilliers222 Well, there's several examples, can't think of many off the very top of my head, but one example is that vampires don't have any blood running through their veins. Meyer clearly states this in all 4 books. However, Bella and Edward have sex in BD. Vampires don't have a pulse, therefore cannot get an erection, therefore cannot really have sex or produce a child. 1st thing I can think of, but I'm sure there's more :)

If you dislike the books and/or movies that's YOUR OPINION to why "Twilight Sucks", so keep it to yourselves! There are no vegan vampires, as you pointed out, vampires NEED to sustain themselves on blood otherwise they would die.

He is a famous and incredible writer who wrote The Green Mile, The Dark Tower Series and Carrie and is (in my mind) the literature version of Steven Spielberg. Second, its Hermione. @hairyotter4eva Stephen King is the most famous American horror writer ever. He has sold over 350 million copies of his books, while Meyer has only sold about 50 million. (Those numbers could be wrong, but they were the best I could find.) He has published over 50 novels and novellas, while Meyer has only published 5 or 6, which means he's probably had more creative ideas than Meyer, hence, he's more of a "creative genius" than her. So, no, it doesn't have anything to do with growing up or dealing with trauma. Hermione (notice the spelling) didn't cry when Ron left because she has more than one demension and she's a strong female, as opposed to Bella. Typing in all caps makes you look stupid and immature. If you want to find a book where the trauma is influenced from the environment or from outside characters, go to Barnes and Noble and find some other book! Criticizing the plot and direction of a book, the "growing up and dealing with trauma" issue, will honestly not get you anywhere because they are each of your opinions!

Best moment ever when my girlfriend whos intelligent told me she had read the books because her best friend loves them, she hated them and said it was a load of shit. He states that it does not have to be sexual, but the purpose of imprinting is to continue the species. Therefore it is sexual and Quil is essentially grooming Claire. Even Claire's freewill is negated, when Bella asks if Claire has a choice. Jacob says yes but wonders why anyone would say no. Pretty much implying that Claire would be stupid to say no.
