  • awesome!

i agree with grimsbyjujitsu, put more to us please!

    thanks a lot!

  • Well, first I would like to apologize to everyone for my English, and also for any despotism related to what I say. I am a Brazilian, training bujutsus almost ten years, and some of them come to collect as much information as I can.

  • My country has had an intense migration of different peoples, including Japanese. Among these, many were martial artists who were trying a new life. Grace's father, in his travels through the interior of the Amazon found a Japanese judo master, called Coma Konji (the second name comes from the fame of all his opponents ended in coma) who taught him his art.

  • After some time Gracie moved to Rio de Janeiro (over 5000 km away), where he consolidated his reputation. But what was most remarkable was that even with a weak constitution, he became a brawler unbeatable in the alleys of Rio His fame brought many followers to the new style he had been consolidating.

  • But his style was being lost, with the jiujitsu taken more and more to the sporting side, losing much of their martial arts, completely corrupting its initial proposal of martial art. Nothing I said is supreme, everything is subject to errors, and any one can fix or suggest some information, I have helped to clarify some of what is jiujitsu.

  • Aside from some minor critiques of a couple specific techniques (personal preference), I really enjoyed your Jujutsu. Please post more.

  • These two dumb asses give the real art of jujutsu a bad name. Look like a couple of fuckin idiots!!

  • you guys are very good.. its great to see some real japanese jujutsu

  • lol alll yall can eat a cock lol

  • Man i didnt think an arm can twist that way

  • hey fuckin faggot i c u got tons of guy that r gonna kick ur ass.

  • Hi - great Video - well shot - great to see nice clean, sharp techniques - focus and attention to detail. One small point on the overhead stick attack - shime-waza (juho-waza) jacket choke - tori turns his head to Uke's arm for protection applying the technique - fine - but should not obscure his own vision from seeing another attacker or situational awareness. Great stuff!

  • Really nice vid, the pratictioners are very good..is this traitional jujitsu or a specific "ryu"/school?

  • i found the first move very effective, good to see people keep this sport alive

  • Beautiful. You guys have single handedly convinced me to learn traditional Jujitsu... Oss! (bow)...

  • what jujutsu style is this?....i really liked the techniques...

  • Very interesting - reminds me of Soden waza I have practiced from the Takumakai. Enjoyed your vid. Actually that has to be Soden waza - did you learn it from Amatsu sensei?

  • @gaperiott Thank you for your comment. That's right, these are Soden techniques and our teacher is Amatsu sensei. Check our website for more information.

  • Very interesting - reminds me of Soden waza I have practiced from the Takumakai. Enjoyed your vid.

  • Very nice... Lets keep in mind, BJJ doesn't work in street fights, it's made for the cage, with rules. This, however does and has been proven in combat!

  • So...how different is jujitsu from hapkido? Hapkido came from yawara aka jujitsu..I think..but are they much different?

  • also I believe in statistics & what ever the statistic is about fights going to the ground today I wouldn't deny that - & it was 85% smart ass.

  • What is the difference between Aikijutsu and Jujutsu? Excellent demonstration.

  • NICELY DEMONSTRATED!

  • very nice i do ju jitsu to and i have big respect for you guy's

  • This is Aiki jutsu's jujutsu techniques or Aiki jutsu waza without aiki

  • Excellent!

  • I teach Sum Nung Wing Chun and Lethwei and fight in MMA matches. After 20 years of various martial arts, I've always wanted to learn a Japanese style.

Last week, I began as student in this style and am hooked. What amazes me the most is the similarity with WC regarding the locks.

Loved the videos, especially the smooth execution of the moves.

    Keep up the good work!

  • Excellent work keep doing that I will look forward for more techniques from you Saavedra aensei

    harajitsu mexico

  • NICE. PLZ make more videos. :D

  • Very similar to the form i study. Looking forward to seeing more...

  • Great Jujutsu niceli done

  • nice to see some real original jujitsu not that fake homosexual imitation gracie/brazilian shit

  • Jujitsu is the brazilian version, if you want to offend the users if that style know what you are saying. The original is named jujutsu, the one i practice.

Would be better to respect everyone, and look forward for peace. We train so we don't have to fight. That starts within.

  • it seems like your the one who should 'know what your saying' google jujitsu and jujutsu they have the exact same definition. and then theres the fact that they can be used interchangeably

  • There is nothing gay about bjj. I understand that it may look like that, but there really is no room for homophobia when you're getting choked.

And the name Brasilian Jiu Jitsu is a bit misleading. The art that Gracies learned was not jujutsu, it was judo (in it's original form).

BJJ is most definately not shit. It's one of the most effective forms of grappling known to man. The Gracies and others have been proving that for decades.

Nice video by the way. Keep up the good work Sasuga guys.

  • @bonegus

what does homophobia have to do with anything......oh i see just cause i called it gay all of a sudden im 'homophobic', you might want to look up the definition of homophobia. i dont like guns, that doesnt mean i have a phobia against guns or bullets, dont like being sick - do i have a 'phobia' against disease? no.

  • @TENNSUMITSUMA please challenge a world class BJJ practioner & see how homo it is when your ass is passed out & you wake up without your a kidney.

  • @Uberboy07

1 weather i win or loose doesnt make it less gay

2 what proof do you have that i will 'passed out' and 'wake up without your a kidney' (what ever the fuck 'your a kidney' is). i suppose this 'world class BJJ practioner' is immune from getting his ass beat eh, you sad fuck-been watching too many of those old school gracie propaganda vids. i bet you actually still believe the lie that 90% of fights go to the ground.

  • @TENNSUMITSUMA LOL! ok lets make a point out of an obvious TYPO grammer assassin. Once again obviously I don't have any proof that you will become "passed out"(obvious slang) but if your going to say shit like jap. jujitsu is real & bjj is fake then it's easy for one to assume you would represent JJJ against another opponent - including a BJJ practioner since you speak so highley of it...

  • @TENNSUMITSUMA lol no I don't watch old school gracie propaganda vids & if I did it would be ok because you watch this "classical mess bullshit". I study the Jeet kune do concept - apply what is useful & ground techniques are highly useful.I'm a sad fuck?Well I think your a bitch, so continue to QQ on this vid about BJJ.lol you never see people on bjj vids bitching about JJJ lawl. what's funny is i usually get along with Asians -assuming u are by your name.oh well continue trolling or QQ lolol.

  • @Uberboy07

'lol you never see people on bjj vids bitching about....'

~ no you dont, what you see is them getting up in arms when ever someone questions them or points out the times when bjj looses in a fight (despite the indoctrination that its 'the best') and then there are the excuses they make despite telling everyone of every other style not to make any when they loose

'you watch this "classical mess bullshit"'

~ i dont know who u quoting, but why u watching if u think its shit

  • @TENNSUMITSUMA I'm watching it because I enjoy watching traditional styles/techniques because I'm a choreographer. Just because I think they look awesome doesn't mean I would use a lot of their techniques in a real fight. most of it isn't practical - bjj is practical. there's nothing gay about getting your ass handed to you on the ground. samething goes with other ground styles fore example catch wrestling. prove to me that all bjj guys say/do that because i think ur talking out of ur ass.

  • @TENNSUMITSUMA

i use to confuse jujutsu with judo, because of the brazilian imitation.

  • @TENNSUMITSUMA actually BJJ is derived from judo, so no, it's not an imitation, since judo itself has emphasis on ground work, while jujutsu has not. You can't compare a sport martial art with a self defence martial art, my friend.

  • @AlexLococo

bjj and choson judo are the same thing. royce himself said in an interview that its the same thing, all his family did was add leverage, so yes it is an imitation. and last time i checked bjj is 90% ground work so how does judo 'emphazise on ground work' and jujutsu doesnt?

you mind telling me why i cant compare them? there isnt a single martial art that was invented to be a sport. there is however a shit load that have been turned into sports.

  • @TENNSUMITSUMA Of course not, every martial art will tell you they will teach you to protect yourself, but ground work is not the best way of self defence. BJJ is not an Jujutsu imitation, it might be a judo imitation, but not a jujutsu imitation. Jujutsu is delivered from the streets, is a street martial art, and they won't tell you to get on the ground and start to wrestle because it's stupid.

BJJ was developed for cage fight not the streets, it's a sport.

  • Comment removed

  • @TENNSUMITSUMA Even if they say so, it's obvious it's for the cage not the streets. BJJ might seem to be the most overestimated martial art right now, but Royce Graice made it a what it is in the UFC1, 2 and 4, so it's fair that the BJJ has its name so renown.

Nonetheless, as they say: "it's not the martial art, it's the practitioner", so learn a little respect, so as BJJ practitioners should.

  • @AlexLococo

(wonder why my comment was removed, too much truth i guess)

im not the one that needs to learn a little respect. its all these bjj/gjj nut huggers that wanna fight any and everyone that doesnt bow down and clean out the gracie butt hole with their tongue. i dont take this crap.

  • @TENNSUMITSUMA That's why I said (most) BJJ practitioners should learn it too. Not everyone is like that, but you're not giving jujutsu a good name acting like the many assholes that practice BJJ (that act this way). Every Martial Art has it's merits simply because it requires dicipline.

  • @AlexLococo By the way, the US Army makes BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) not Traditional jujutsu, part of the curriculum. This should tell you BJJ is for combat, that is real mortal combat, not just for the cage.

  • @AlexLococo BJJ has saved lives in the streets, in car jacking attempts and even against knife attacks. Although BJJ is a sport, it is a martial art first for the streets, a sport second. Helio Gracie, the creator of BJJ had that in mind. Just because BJJ can be practice as a sport does not mean it can't be a effective martial art. An armlock still breaks the elbow joint on the street if the assailant don't know how to defend it, so can I choke. Your ignorance is laughable.

  • @AlexLococo Listen, I understand we all wanna be Jackie Chan, a reverse punch to this guy, and do a spinning back kick on the guy behind you. That's what karate and kickboxing is for. Now suppose while you're punching the guy in front of you, someone tackles you to the ground. You wrote, "but ground work is not the best way of self defence". Now since you don't know how to get out when someone is punching you while sitting on you, you will die. BJJ teaches you how to get out. Understand?

  • @GooseHinson I was defending BJJ, but judo, sambo and catch wrestling help you on that. However, getting on the floor is not the best option and should be avoided at all costs. You don't armbar a guy while there are other 2 guys kicking you, you know? not a god idea.

  • @AlexLococo I agree too that "getting on the floor" is not the best option and should be avoided at all costs. I'm with you on that. What I try to tell you is sometimes "getting on the floor" is unavoidable and you might not have an option on that. You better know how to defend yourself when you get in that situation. Suddenly, in that scenario, knowing BJJ, Judo, Catch Wrestling or what not IS the "BEST IDEA" actually.

  • @GooseHinson True. I agree completely.

  • @TENNSUMITSUMA

why do people call it jiujitsu, jujitsu, jijitsi, jijitsu, jujutsi?

  • @jin54363

jujutsu - the name of an old martial art (old being anything predating the meiji restoration era or tokugawa, cant remember which)

jujitsu / jiu jitsu - some bullshit of the more recent era, i guess to differentiate the two, not that many even know the difference as they use it interchangeably. this is what gracie jujitsu/brazilian jujitsu (cause there is a difference according to the gracies) is under

  • @jin54363

    (cont)

as for 'jijitsi' 'jijitsu' 'jujutsi' ive never seen it spelled like that in any language

  • @TENNSUMITSUMA

yeah but i can bet that some people might spell like that :/

  • That was very interesting!! it would nice to know some more, for example whats the name of arm control technique at 0:31.

    thanks for sharing!

  • Great Ju Jitsu, thanks, please put some more on UTube.

  • Thanks. We will try to.

  • @grimsbyjujitsu
