Oh my gosh, I totally agree. I get so mad when people talk in a movie theater, especially when they are right behind me. It makes me want to turn around and say "Hey, how's it going? Yeah, can ya do me a favor? Shut the f#@k up."

I think it's okay to talk if you do it in a really low voice or whisper if you are going with friends. If you'd want to sit quietly you could just go alone.
But yes, there are those who yell and laugh really loudly when there's nothing in the movie to laugh or yell at.

Karem, I have to say (and I think you'll really love this) That I saw the cutest couple at the theater the last time I saw a scary movie...they were just your typical highschool couple, but the boy was actually the one cringing and holding on to the girl. Now, I don't live by stereotypes but I think it's fun to compare what society says to the "oddities" I see that diverge from that, and I have to say...this was soo sweet and awesome I almost died of pride for them <3

There's this thing my local-ish movie theater does every summer and it's free kids movies. Two summers ago, I went with my mom, brother, and grandma and there was this kid that had obviously seen the movie the previous day, and he was yelling out what part was coming next and I wanted to turn around and yell at him, but he couldn't have been more than 7 and I was 15 at the time, so I couldn't.
And I also hate those "critics" that talk loudly and discuss the movie WHILE it's playing. >_>

To me the only thing that really bothers me is when little kids are talking because they don't know the meaning of whispering. They talk like they're the only one in the theaters. I don't mind if people text if they took the time to turn their screen brightness down, or sit in the very back where no one else can see them. My main thing is, Good movies are best in silence, Shitty movies are a lot better with some commentary. But i don't pay 8-12 bucks to watch a shitty movie. I'll rent it for a buck, or wait till its on netflix.

THANK GOD!!!!! I payed $40 for a pre-screening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and these 2 girls wouldn't shut up. I was really upset because not only is it one of my favorite movie series but we payed so much extra to see it early.

I hate it when people talk at ALL in the theater. It's one thing to whisper a sentence or two, but the people who just sit there and TALK, and ignore the movie need to shut the fuck up. If you want to talk during the movie, wait for it to come out on DVD and watch it at home. Oh, and the people who bring screaming 2 year old kids into the theater. The theater should charge a $10 screaming child fee so they'll leave the shitlings at home. :/

To me the only thing that really bothers me is when little kids are talking because they don't know the meaning of whispering. They talk like they're the only one in the theaters. I don't mind if people text if they took the time to turn their screen brightness down, or sit in the very back where no one else can see them. But I agree that I hate when guys try to act tough and make stupid jokes. You go to scary movies for that purpose. To be scared. Or to make fun of it later...

One time i went to see a movie with my cousins, and we were so scared that we tried laughing it off and trying not to be scared. So we're sitting in the theater laughing at the scary parts as if they're funny and we look so retarded, i swear people were looking at us like we hit our heads :) By the way it was Drag Me To Hell, so you can see why we were so scared...

My main thing is, Good movies are best in silence, Shitty movies are a lot better with some commentary. But i don't pay 8-12 bucks to watch a shitty movie. I'll rent it for a buck, or wait till its on netflix.
