My grandmother died from Alzheimer's 2 years ago. She meant a lot to me so I love that you are doing this walk to try and give a helping hand. Keep doing this! I'm sure I don't just speak for myself when I say you (along with everone else) doing this is greatly appreciated. -3

Personally, I worked in the elderly care for a while. It gives you a really unique perspective on the problems of diseases like alzheimer. Volunteering at your local elderly home does more good than you can imagine right now. Still, it's good that walks like these exist to create the needed awareness.

That and it's always cute to see Ro have fun!

I watched my great grandfather be taken over by alzheimers. He was a happy man who often reverted to a child like state, dancing and playing with toy trucks.

I was old enough to understand what was going on with him, but too young to appreciate the conversations I wish I would of initiated when I had the chance.

If anyone knows someone with it, take the time to talk to them before they're 'gone'.
