They both have had some silly storylines, both have people with strange and amazing powers, and the hero can never forgive the bad guy (of the storyline). Just leave it be and suport Shonen Jump who owns both stories.

P.S. Personaly I think anyone can take on Usopp, except maybe Sakura (pre skip). Usopp seems to win based on luck and "his" crew.
