As Martin said, freerunning is more about looking good by flipping and doing moves that are pleasing to the eye while you move, whereas parkour is about efficiency — going out of your way to look good isn't very efficient.

@7cashmoney7 We're not freerunners. We're Traceurs. We practice Parkour, not Freerunning. They're both excellent in their own way, and we don't limit our vision by sticking to one and completely ruling out the others, but we're predominantly parkour practitioners. Thus, flips, and all that kind of showy stuff isn't something we do. It doesn't get us to our destination any faster. The faster and more efficient we can get from A to B, the better. Flips do not help us achieve that.

Aww man, see THIS is what I've been looking for! So far all I've seen are free running tricksters showing off, which is cool and all, but I just prefer the forward flow of focused parkour for the purpose of environmental traversal, no showboating or flashiness. This was very impressive, thank you!
