The only things that was disapointng in this game was in fact CD 4 after Adel fight...when Ellone takes you to the future and you have to fight Ultimecia in her castle...what that is disapoint is in fact when you take one of the doors and get to the outside world you can´t walk into a city...it is all protected by a bubble in very lightblue color...and don´t ffend me now! I know the reasons to it and all.
Yet again, there is a strong rumor about the possible remakes of 7 and 8. If so, it would be a couple of years because of the better graphics and details it would give. When remakes of these games come out, I am certain it would sell rapidly and become # 1 game at its opening week.

The Junction system is not 'hard to understand' ('Junction the thing that makes your stat go up lots'), but it's counterintuitive since it encourages you to NOT use your best spells, since there are very few places to replenish some of them (not going to count the invisible draw points on the secret islands, as those were not things any casual player through would realistically come to know about).
Great game. My favorite FF by far. But yeah, it had its flaws. Wish they'd remake it though.

I like FF8. I really do, I'm playing it right now. To put it lightly I was no impressed by this video. If it showed a couple fight scenes or Squal just walking around then I could see some improvements but I don't see much difference graphic wise.
They should do a remake of FF8 instead of FF7...8 one was the first to REALLY implement "LOVE" wich made people discover their hidden part "inside" if you see what I mean ;)

Actually that was originally rendered by a group of new staff members who did not work on the VIII project and it was simply shown as the bottom-line of what they could do with the PS2 graphics. The lighting was perfect in the original version of this technical demo I saw from one of the staff members I know. When it was aired on a segment of a Japanese show the quality went to the rubbish bin. Besides it's easier to note which staff rendered it because of the little mistakes made on the models.

No, it's not. It's rendered in real time, as far as looking as it goes, and the original cutscene was fair bit different. There were other dancers, the scene's weren't cut up, and the fireworks only showed at the end.
Evidently if they planning to make Full Tech Demo of final fantasy 7 and 8 then they are working on recreating them on future consoles. It would be a good idea seeing that loads of people are already awaiting remakes of both of the games. SquareEnix would get loads of money.
Who knows maybe they've already started that project but theyre keeping it under raps
